It can often happen that a scene has a mix of colour temperatures. With landscape photography it is usually the foreground being in the shade, like in this photo. While an ND grad on the lens can balance the exposure and overcome the high contrast, it can’t do anything about the temperature.
Here I show you on this photo taken at Lake Bled one morning, how we can use Adobe Camera RAW and balance the colour temperature using the gradient tool inside the masking tool. A simple, quick and effective adjustment.
