ColourMFA How to Install in VW Golf Mk5 GTI. ColorMFA in Golf Mk5 R32 TDI and 2.0L petrol PQ35

Yes compatible. Probably can't find them because they've not been made for a good 4 years now. Next best is 3dcolormfd. Google should take you to a Facebook group where you can order.

Good question. You will need to adjust the mileage to match your original.

hey m.b. - that's right no need for coding because you are using you roriginal instrument unit. If you want to use a 2nd hand unit then you will need coding. Yes you need the controls on steering wheel to control it - otherwise there's no way to control ;)

Hello - the only way to upgrade with this type of screen is to open it. There are others with colour screen but the upgrade in functions isn't as big.

Hello NS it's a great question! It's not that simple. I mean try it (there's no harm doing so) but I don't think it'll work. I tried in my TT 8J cluster and it doesn't work like this. Let me know how you go :)

Hi Alxar - it would be better to source a half screen one and code that to your car. Then use the half screen one to install ColourMFA into. The challenge with the full screen version is the comfort menu. So far I can't figure out how to remove this function from full screen. On half screen cluster it doesn't have the comfort menu making it more suited to the retrofit.

@@ziggyortiz37 not sure which car you have but for most Audi VW they already have this feature built in so no need to add a separate one. They're called an after run pump and usually controlled by the rad fan control module or ecu. ☺️
