Colourpop and Disney had this in the making for a while. There was supposed to be a Lizzie McGuire reprise coming, however there were major creative differences between Disney and Hillary as well as the producer. Hillary wanted a more grown up take on Lizzie while Disney wanted to keep her young and childlike. This collection was to be released shortly before the pilot episode of the new series. However, because things came to a halt in late 2020, they still had to get it out as contracts were already negotiated and signed
Aw well either way I’m happy they didn’t make something that wasn’t all around great (especially if Hilary wasn’t 100% on board) and tarnish the Lizzie name 😂👏🏻

I'm 22 so when it was aired I was like 2 o 3, but I remember still watching it, until a was like 5 or 6, I even had a matching red top and a denim skirt with the little cartoon Lizzie on it hahah, wich i loooved, so sad I cant get this collection it looks great, you look beautiful as always💚💜🧡💗

The only thing I think I’ll pick up is the eyeshadow palette. I don’t like the chunky glitters and I’m not really a gloss girl. But I LOVE Lizzie! I absolutely love colour pops collabs. They always hit me in my feelings for sure with all the nostalgia. But man it’s a bummer that some of the shade I can already tell will not work for you my skin tone 😫😫😫. Similar to the sailor moon collection. It was too pastel. The makeup looks bomb on you !!!!

I was an adult when Lizzie McGuire aired, but I still watched cartoons, esp adult swim/cartoon network. I did watch it when I could, thought it was cute & always love a smart & strong female main character, and her little animated self. It was a great show but I'm not sentimental about it, if I get anything it will be if it goes to Ulta & I'm there & decide to pick it up. The palette is really pretty but just not colors I wear. Considering the Gordo lip gloss since I've never tried any CP tube glosses. I have the CP hello kitty lip scrub which I also want to eat! It smells like cookies. CP scrubs aren't bad for the price. I tried a Sarah Happ scrub to see if it stacks up to it's high price, it's pretty nice I admit & leaves lips amazing.
You can tell the lip scrub and lip gloss really did make your lips more healthy looking. I tried watching the show on Disney plus its so cringe to watch now lol but I loved Lizzie Mcguire when I was 8. 💜

I completely disagree with you about colourpop. Yes they release a lot of collections that are fun to keep but their makeup is good. Their eye shadows work great. They get so much slack about all of their releases its not fair. The product is wonderful. I can't ever think of a palette by them that after using it I thought oh god that was bad.

Main criticism for Colourpop is that they can overwhelm consumers (myself) with new releases. After purchasing a collection over $50 plus dollars, they release another and the idea of “I need to purchase this collection” is instilled in (my) brain. Colourpop is very smart in business, they’re releasing so much collection that plays with my nostalgia, like this collection. How can I not purchase this? So is the criticism valid? I personally validate this. They just had a Bambi collection and now this; it gets overwhelming. Colourpop is like the “fast fashion” of makeup world, they are able to pump out so many releases in little time, meanwhile restocking take so long because they’re probably working on a new collection etc... this is no shade to Colourpop, I love their products and I continue to purchase from them (all the time) but I would like you to read from a different perspective (mine, especially) when it comes to their releases; So it’s more of criticism than me bashing.
