This was very helpful to me because I have been looking at buying this pallet for a while. But seeing you work with it and the difficulty you had now I don’t think I want to spend my money on it. While the looks were just beautiful on you the fact that you sort of had to work harder than with other pallets sort of made me realize it might not be the pallet for me. I bought one of the smaller palettes from colourpop....and I really disliked it. The color payoff is nothing....I had to work and work...and then i felt like the color just disappeared by the end of the day. Now that being said, colorpop came out with a concealer that is just divine! Very thin, creamy and good coverage - does not creep into lines and stays put!

I live in Ny, bought this pallet in the mail and took a bought a week and half for shipping. I used this pallet all winter long, its a great pallet. I did my eyes first cause it does have a lot of fall out. Thanks for all the different looks

I have this palette and I can be overwhelmed by large palettes at times. I find it much easier to use this palette if I look at each row top to bottom as an individual look. 🙂 .....which then makes some of the similar shades make more sense.

Hi Nisha! I love the result of this palette! When you can't afford expensive palettes, you have to find tricks for those palettes that are of lower quality. I like to take my time so it's not a problem and I have fun with the colours. But yes, it takes a lot longer to do a nice makeup with this type of eyeshadow. I bought some patches for under the eyes to limit the damage of the powder and I am very satisfied. I also play around with different brush shapes as some brushes spread the material better than others. I moisten very often when applying certain materials. I always apply an eye primer and also a little concealer on the eyelid if the colours are not bright enough. I also like to apply a makeup setting mist a few times during the makeup process. I must say that this is part of my routine so it's not that complicated. However, I think these makeups look great on you even though the outer corners of your eyes are more pale. I've been waiting for this review! Thank you!💗. I'm a formula connoisseur as well (always inline with your evaluations), it's just not worth it to me to invest, store, remember and work too hard especially on aging eyelids. BUT as one of the world's most cool-toned people, I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for cool shadows & light colored shimmers that show up on my eyes. And this palette looked like it might work, but IDK... I would be buying it just for a few light shimmers (as usual). I wish they'd make a good quality cool-toned palette and include a dark purple, a dark green, dark gray, dark "Concrete Jungle" (Makeup Geek) and more than 2 light shimmers! I have these in my Makeup Geek custom palette (yes, Corrupt is there!) And I'm thinking of updating to the new square shadows (9 quality shadows for $38), but she just doesn't have any new light shimmers or foils (my favorite is Whimsical!!). But I get bored and want new colors... Oh well. Thanks so much for the review 💕. Xo

I agree the tones are quite similar but on the positive, its like you are getting twice as much of those colors and for me they happen to be my fave transition colors 😊

Wow!!! just got a look at the second part of this video. You look Beautiful! That face, those eyes, that blonde hair with your soft floral top is 🤩 Wowza! Movie Star! So glad to hear you are feeling more at peace. I too, have issues with depression and anxiety. Actually, diagnosed with ptsd and dissociative disorder. It got so bad my adrenals were spent and so much anxiety for so long, I went into something like out of body experience. I was diagnosed with adrenal exhaustion and put on hormones and steroids. That happened about 10 yrs ago, but seems much less. It was a severe nervous breakdown and it changed my life forever. My short term memory is terrible and my cognitive function is always a struggle. I am so grateful for having had a long ongoing relationship with the Holy Spirit, because it was my faith that carried me. It was the worst thing I'd ever experienced and I know adversities well. Every day I feel a shadow of my former self. A hair stylist, redken master colorist, salon owner, gospel singer and recording artist. Still can barely go back there. A lot of great Drs., psychiatrists, psychologists, neuro- psychologists, Endocrinologists, neurologists and sleep study team helped bring me to a better place. It is still a struggle, but God has us here for purposes we may or may not see. It is so good to see the sparkle in your eyes again. Many people who have had experience with chemical imbalances recognize it in others. I believe your candor and sincerity about your life's experiences are a big part of what makes you entertaining and enjoyable. You are the first on RU-vid that ever caught my attention. TV was never my thing. However, when I had my breakdown all that changed. I now enjoy TV more than I could ever have imagined. I don't get out much, but when I do, it usually has to do with a singing engagement or doctor appts. It gets harder and harder to perform, but I will for special events, funerals and the like. So, I truly rely on your videos for keeping me up on products, techniques and things. You are so talented and we share the same taste in makeup and beauty. It's been a tough haul, but glad I got to share the past few years with you! Thank you for all your help and great works! I so appreciate you! Keep the faith! 💕

Good morning Nisha, I love the cool tones here, the color story is beautiful. I totally agree so many of the shadows are similar. I prefer a slightly smaller palette too. I have never tried Colour pop & am on the fence with this one. I probably will pass since it is hard to work with and you are far more experienced than I am. The looks are beautiful on you. i got this palette and I love it ! the colours are great. I think that all of those that you were mentioning look very similar to each other, when you use them together one on top of the other it is almost like a way of blending....it makes it easier to get a more blended look i am addicted to your eye make up videos !!! feel so much more confident with eye makeup since I started watching you 💋💗

Lovely looks! Colourpop does make beautiful shimmers...you should try some of their supershock shadows! I think you would absolutely adore them!! Also regarding shipping, I live in North Carolina & it usually takes around 2 weeks or more for my orders to arrive when I order from them as well. I don’t have the pallet, and they may be difficult to work with, but they look gorgeous on you! I absolutely love that look! And actually, that’s dark enough for me. I bought this palette on sale a few weeks ago. I love it! I prime my eyelids with a cream eyeshadow stick in a light color and then use my fingers to press the shadow in. That way, I don't get fallout. I know it sounds crazy but it works.

I have several Colour Pop palettes and I really love them all. The shimmers are much better than the mattes I feel. Maybe this is just a miss for them, but you my friend, can make anything look great.

I feel like what eyeshadow base you use makes a difference too, maybe she would have had a better experience using a different eyeshadow base. I have many high end palettes and I still reach for the Colourpop most of the time!

Nisha, first I have makeup gerk’s Corrupt black eyeshadow. Yes it is the blackest black! I agree with you that this pallet could easily be 12 shades in total. A lot of redundancy and duplication of shades that is just unecessary. That’s why I don’t buy bigger palettes. The looks you dud with the Natasha Denona Glam palette were beautiful. Plus you get the quality with her palettes. Her shimmers are to die for. You can make it work, but after finally buying my first Natasha Denona palette, the bronze pallet, I appreciate the quality you get. These colors are way too cool for me. This pallet would not be right fur me or worth my time.

I really like that there are similar shades since they are smaller. That way, if I am low or run out of a favorite, I have another color similar without having to buy more. Also, less palettes to use, store and sort through. I'm learning to minimize what I spend and have while maximizing usage from what I do have.

So excited that you got this! I don't use cool colors often but I have this palette and most of the other videos, the girls go wayyy too dark for me. Some of the glitter ones are weird..glitter without color or color and the glitter goes everywhere

I love cool looks and if it was readily available in the uk I would buy it but not sure it would be worth the trouble of paying customs charges etc. Hoping to visit the US again when we are allowed, our holiday last year was cancelled, so it’s on my list to check out if we ever manage to travel again. Hi Neesha, colour pop can be found at promakeup_pl too. Maybe the shipping and duties/etc are less expensive. I haven't ever tried their formula, so I'd love to know if it's worth trying. How long lasting are the shadows? I would rather buy one really great palette and get my monies worth,rather than buy 3 or 4 cheaper palettes that aren't that great. Are any of the tones dupes for the pillow talk color story? Is the Too Faced Born This Way palette better in quality? I've seen the Too Faced palette on sale now for €29. I think I'd rather order that since it has cool and warm tones. 😁😘❤Great video! 👍😘😉❤

I've been using this one for a week now. While I do love it, I have to agree, I hate the fallout and its disappointing to see so much. I just do my eyes first before the rest of my makeup. I also, like you, find you can not build the colors up as far as layering. It is still a good drug store palatte and very pretty colors. I'm not putting it away just yet lol. Its surely great for a pretty everyday look. So fine is by far my favorite lid color!

I really liked the review. I love the colors, but it is good to know they don't blend. Also the fall out is not good. Just to let you know. I have the candystore colour pop pallette. The pearl color broke and came out on me, first time I used it. That's bad. Now I do have their Disney female characters and love it. The candy cane colors are very nice. That pallet only has 10 colors and they are all glitery and pretty but the breaking turned me off. I think I got them both on Amazon

I have this palette. I agree about the fallout, pigmentation, and blendability. I have also said that there are too many similar colors. The whole pallet isn’t super fun to use.

I’ve always had an issue with colour pop eyeshadows. Most of the colors oxidize or just change color as soon as they hit my skin whether I use a primer or not. Such a bummer because I love this color story. 💜

I was concerned about this palette, as I saw this video after I brought it... I was pleasantly surprised though. I love this palette, it's been perfect for the last bit of winter, and perfect for spring. Although there is a lot of kick up in the pan, if you tap your brush, you won't get a ton of fallout.... I'm wondering if you got a bad batch, perhaps...? Mine blends perfectly and the colors are all pigmented...

Hi Nisha Thankyou for showing us the Colour Pop Sone Cold Fox , I have never heard of this brand before , but what a big palette and I love the names of all the colours of the eyeshadows .I don’t think I would take this palette on holiday with me as it is too big ,but if they did some of the same colours in a smaller palette mybe I would as they do look good on you Nisha . I love the mauve look. I think it's absolutely beautiful. I prefer a look like this to one that's intense, for myself. I wouldn't buy the palette, though. It has too many colors I wouldn't use and I do not like fallout. xo~linda

I heard on you tube that if you take a swiffer brush and rub over your eyeshadow palettes it cleans them up fast. Can you add fix spray to your brush to make it go own less powdery? I just ordered this today and I love the colors and just can't afford more expensive brands. I do like that it has so many that are close together in colors so they will last longer.

The end result Nisha does look beautiful but it’s disappointing when the colours are gorgeous but the quality is not there. It’s very difficult to use anything else when you have lots of high end palettes. Just out of interest How would you compare the quality to BH cosmetics ? Cos this palette reminds be very slightly of love in London I love that palette but again you can’t possibly compare it to higher end cos it’s not as long wearing and quite powdery even though the shimmers are blinding.😊 xx
