Ustad Amjad Ali Khan is the Greatest Sarod Player. He has popularised Sarod with his sweet style of playing Sarod. I met him as a student at IIT Madras in 1986 and later several times and he inspired me encouraged me to learn and practice Sarod. He took so much care and told how to practice this great instrument. He is a great human being.
Extremely elegant and aesthetically resplendent accompaniment. Pt Samar Saha is a creative genius of the highest level. Mesmerising. The tabla starts just as if a sensuous breeze blows and then takes you through a magical journey. Amazing!
Tilak Kamod mimics Raga Des to some extent however it renders sense of sublime and divine sentiments. Amjad Ali has given full justice to this Flavour in his immaculate rendition --- a True Virtuoso !!
Respectfully, I love these comments. You know there is a way to avoid adds, right? Pay for premium! Should we, as consumers, have unlimited access to Classical masterworks for FREE. It's ok to put adds in Pop music? Either way, the artist gets diddly. Time for all of us to consider how we support the arts and great artists like this instead of griping about innovations that give us access to something we never would have had without the free services on the internet.
