A classier way to put down a home intruder is by using the good old Colt Python with 6" barrel, Royal Blue finish, and the original 2nd variation patterned wood grips.
Very slick!! I own a 6" Python, blued, circa 1978 (through serial number research) that is N.I.B. and never fired. As nice as that polish job looks, I think I'll keep my blued version.😉😄
Incredible job. No rounded edges or dished holes from what I can see. I did my river vaquero to a flawless finish about 9 years ago. Just had to send it in to river for work…and they reset the finish back to factory. Looks like they ran it under a buffing wheel that somehow was like 800 grit or less. I got it back and started angrily hand polishing and dished out all the holes before I calmed myself. Working on the cylinder now but the whole gun will take me several days of work hours
