good point, a fella with his particular set of skills WOULD come in handy. sample dialog for the ride, hitchhiker "thanks, this is my stop" you "uh yeah, i'll drop you on the way back, keep playin'"
He was talking...and his voice sounds a little deeper than normal for a 20 year old, then he starts singing...and hes 60 year old country legend. This kids going far.
I hope he sticks around. Been listening to him for a while now and just recently learned we're only 5 months apart in age. Never would have guessed he was 20 when he recorded the song. His voice is much lower than the average 20 year old. Hoping he tours near me in the next few years. The closest he'll be this time around is 6.5 hours away.
Or ur studio sucks lol. Jk these buskers kick ass and Colter is fucking amazing. I like metal...rap...every gd thing. Colter really speaks to me....hes kinda like old country revival a bit
After Colter was done singing that absolute masterpiece, the dude driving’s response was “great….that was awesome.” And he said it like it was the 25th take or something. Dudes jaw should have been on the floorboard.
Colter, to this day, is one of my favorite artist I’ve ever seen live. He surely not produced, he’s all natural & his voice is so pure. By that I mean he sounds just like his recordings, live. I was fortunate enough to see him on tour with Cody Jinks & it was an amazing night.
Love me some Colter Wall! I have only recently discovered this talent. Young man with an old soul. Listening to his music, it is a great blend of rockabilly, country, and western swing. Actually, it sounds pretty good inside the car. Wow!
@@TM-pq1qv bluegrass? Do you even know what bluegrass is? He is mostly folk. Never heard him do a single bluegrass song. Name me one, maybe i am wrong.
It's Cowboy music. He's worked on a couple Ranch's on a Cowboy Crew Fulltime & Daywork. Cowboy's are horseback working cows on ranch out WES. NOT FOLK, & BLUEGRASS. OUTLAW COUNTRY. Country is South crap they ain't cowboys😊
Outstanding! His voice and that guitar...... The lyrics have a Tom Waits vibe. His voice reminds me of Cash Waits. An outstanding, young Canadian artist! Shalom and blessings
When just bout all he writes, plays and sings at some point connect and a you get a chill run through you, you know this young man is the son of the first one to sing blues..BD. Dean
Hey there from the nation's capital city Ottawa ! 1st time hearing this young fella just now. I like it ! Gotta hear some more of that. Thanks for caring and for sharing Jeff :D
That ain’t nothing to rural GA, here in Meriwether county the public works can’t get funding, my dad works on the rod crew, he’s about the only one who does his job and they just about can’t get the asphalt to patch with, and the city streets are a whole other animal, the main road out of Manchester has had a 2 foot dip in it for about a year now where they didn’t fill it right after fixing a water line, and it goes across the entire road so there’s no dodging it.
Yo this was amazing. At times it looked like he was nervous and not gonna hit with such emphasis but then his guitar and voice would open up like Highway 61 in early July.
Colter wall has a voice that is not heard of with this time of year. That’s why he isn’t bigger than he is already. Just like Jamey Johnson song goes. “Between Jennings and Jones.”
C.Wya! Pard, you got sing! And you got play!! Have ya got ride, pard? Rodeo is where country & western soul is too. The gap twixt, Top notch bronco busters, that can sing and play as you do, is wider than the Grand Canyon.
