The video shows the one colt coming in from the paddock area and typically, he is wound up and full of it. The video explains what and why I do what I do with them. I thoroughly enjoy these babies but I take their safety, mine and those around them very seriously. They are full of energy and hormones so I want to be sure I have their mind focused and paying attention (which at this age, can a shirt window of time)! But this colt comes back down quick, pays attention and does really well.
I have a Part 2 video of this colt after being taken back into his stall and tied. He usually has a small tantrum with rope but gets over it fairly quick.... Again, teaching patience... I will post that video as well later today or tomorrow.🐎
I am always doing my best to create an atmosphere and relationship with all of my horses, that creates comfort, understanding and respect. That takes the consistency, dedication, patience and time but it's worth every single breath I take and every single minute needed to do what's needed..💙
Waiting for better weather to start getting them all outdoors and going to different places, trail walks in the woods and shows.
The experiences and exposure will do them good. The hope and goals are to make them a solid partner!
💙🐎🙏
