Hi there, I would not allow myself to answer such a tactical question. I am not a reviewer nor a fashion designer. But I get your point. Speaking from experience, I know what you are talking about and I had just a few down jackets over the years and I can tell you from my experience that I rarely have feathers coming out. You'd have to have a pretty big hole in your jacket to worry about a few feathers going out. For this Jacket I haven't had that issue after a few months of use. Hope that helps.

Okay so to be as precise as possible, one side is exactly the same as the outside (Polyester) and the other side is some kind of super soft fabric (I guess also Polyester), like you keep glasses in, that one is not glossy or smooth plastic. But more cloth like.

Hi Sega, I do not do recommendations simply because I have no authority to do so. I also want to point out that your question is relative. Simply put if you do want to know what temperature this jacket can handle I would suggest you check out the webpage of the manufacturer with the description, imo that is the most legit way to answer it straight. However I said "relative" because what are you wearing above it or under it? A shirt, tactical layers etc. you get me? So that is why the question is not easy to answer. But what I can tell you is that it is crazy water proof (not 100%) but it holds up very very well in rainy conditions and in windy conditions no complains at all. So check the manufacturers webpage for your specific question, good luck Sega.

It would be really hard to answer that question actually. It is pretty relative to what one wears and one's body needs. You could wear this at any temperature. Personally I think that I would opt for this jacket when the temperatures start to get to 10 degrees Celcius or lower. For my body and needs, any temperature above that would be too hot and you would steam in it. Considering there is a base layer and a second layer beneath. This might be the reason that Columbia also does not state any temperature advice on their page. So please understand that this question can not be answered in a tailored personal way unfortunately. Best advice I can give you is: get it, try it at different temperatures with the way you like to wear it and then you'll know. Good question tho.

Hi there Levy, you're welcome. 180cm or 5.10 ft. This is a small and it fits exactly how I like it on me. If I would have gotten a medium I feel it would let too much wind come through. Also my Patagonia would be a shell over this so therefore I chose a good fit. For reference you could maybe check their measurements on their website and see the difference between S and M. The best advice I can give you is; type the exact name of the product in your favourite search engine or price tracker and you will see for your region what price it has, that is golden advice I would say, because I don't want to say something wrong.

However I do tell people everything is always relative so for me just to confirm to you the Small is very very good, fits wonderful, not too large not too tight just like I wanted, but every body is different so keep that in mind. However these days the exchanges are pretty flawless with the shops so good luck on the size and thanks for your input wishing you good times with the jacket.

I don't have any info other that this on the more expensive one. But getting back to you with some measurements.

@@ytfjajytfjaj2324 If you fold it it will be about 26x26x8 cm. That is of course very relative and I did not squeeze it. However if you want to pack it in a pocket, I would say pay a little extra and get the expensive "warmer" edition.
