“Students have been on the right side of history at Columbia and other universities"
History Professor Rashid Khalidi addressed students the day after New York police officers removed and arrested pro-Palestine protesters, who had occupied Hamilton Hall, a building on campus.
Comparing how Columbia honours student protesters of the Vietnam War to today, Khalidi said: “One day, what our students did here will be commemorated in the same way.”

USA just wants to give its money to Israel rather than improve health care. Irrespective - US is supporting killing of thousands of innocent civilians. But USA always does that! Vietnam 3.8 million killed, Laos, El Salvador, Honduras, Iraq, Afghanistan. No weapons of mass destruction millions of people killed. US supports proxy wars and other countries such as supporting and propping up Taliban against Russia. The throne democratically elected governments in many developing countries including in Chile; then supporting dictators who kill thousands of their own people.
