Columbine victim's mother encourages people to 'do something wonderful' to honour those who died

The mother of Lauren Townsend, who died during the Columbine shooting, encouraged people to "shine" for the victims by doing "something wonderful" for another person.
Lauren was the ninth murder victim in the Columbine High School massacre and died after being shot in the library of the school.
A total of 12 students and one teacher were remembered during a 20th-anniversary ceremony held in Littleton, Colorado on Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Of all the the victims her daughter is the one who I feel worst about. Clearly didnt bully either monster, volunteered at animal shelters, straight A student, a future so bright you'd have to wear shades, the last thing she did was try to comfort the girl she was holding onto under the table and said everything will be ok, and got 8 bullets pumped into her by Klebold. I mean I am not saying her life was worth more than any of the others, i'm just saying her story is the saddest in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. Lauren brings a tear to my eyes, thinking of her potential and what was taken from her and her family that day. She was truly sweet and innocent, and didn't deserve that fate.

Ironically Dylan Klebold liked one of the other victims very much, Rachel, because she was trying to spread positivity and Rachel was bullied too. In the end they killed innocent kids and as far as I know none of them were the bullies that had been hurting both Eric and Dylan. Both of them didn’t care though who they would kill since they planned to just bomb everyone in the cafeteria. Truly cruel.

💔💔💔💔💔💔 it seems to unreal for me to see that... it never happened in my country because we are not allowed to wear guns ... it’s so heartbreaking to see this beautiful mother completely broken because of theses 2 fools ... i think about you, i admire you 🙏🏼❤️
