That's cap about traveling, all MLS teams fly & there's typically 3-6 days between games. Home and away just have different environments. Ohio takes soccer extremely serious so it's not easy to play there. Atlanta United is prob the scariest place to play in on most days because it's the largest MLS crowd night in night out typically
Atlanta were playing back and slowly building at the beginning which I think they did for defensive purposes but it hurt them because they kept turning over in their own third to a high pressing Columbus team. I don’t know why but Atlanta seem to not know how to handle the ball on Columbus’ pitch until it’s too late. Their ball handling and passing is totally different at home.
The biggest issue for MLS teams in all these cup competitions is lack of depth. There's rumors that they will give a little boost in the salary cap with maybe a 4th designated player, but as much as we hope, it will probably only be a modest change.

@@michaelpeli2429 I’m sure that has something to do with it even though they have grass fields to practice on to get them ready for away games on grass.
The big difference between this game and the last game is that Morris for the crew played badly in Atlanta and well at home, and Giakumakos was flawless in Atlanta by skyed balls and couldn't connect on his strikes in Columbus. That alone was enough to reverse the score. Morris was back and dominated the midfield and made Almada invisible, and Giakumakos couldn't put the ball in the net. Also this was one of the least "done and dusted" games I've ever seen with a 3-0 lead. The highlights do not come close to presenting just how crazy this game was. Both sides had like 4 saves, and Atlanta must have sky'd it over the crossbar 12 times. These are the two best offenses in the MLS, but they are attached to two of the worst defenses. The underlying problem is with the salary cap you can generally afford to buy an offense or a defense, but not both. But give it a few years. MLS is making money now, so the quality is just going to get better year after year.
Great reaction, looking forward to the prediction vid. There's massive rumors that Emil Forsberg will be heading to the MLS during the next transfer window, and hopefully there is more to come if the league changes roster rules/regulations next month.
First of all bro, all countries is right there with each other in europe, but united states is larger, and u have to travel far away to another states, so what are u talking about?
@@AyoJerry For most of the teams in MLS, it's on attacking players. There are some notably defensive minded teams, but it's generally rare to have a DP defender.
