@Nice One - Hey Nice One. For me, it’s the design, size, sound, and history behind the railroads, and great memories of my childhood. I love model railroads, creating towns, build nature/ scenery that becomes alive when model trains runs the layout tracks , over the bridge, through tunnels and so forth. You’re probably right about the fact that trains may not be right outside your door passing day or night. It’s something that we wait at the tracks to see what we catch. I just think it’s the world’s greatest hobby also. 😀 I hope you give the hobby a try and try railfanning and take photos or videos. Maybe you’d like it this time. Take care and have a safe weekend.
