Columbus Neighborhoods: West Side 

I live right near the “great”western shopping center. It’s basically only a parking lot now. I can’t believe it used to be that cool. I would have loved to walk around there with the wonders.

I remember the Walk of Wonders very well. It was fun for us kids.

Would like to see more of the west Side on the outside of 270 this is just a small fragment of it.

When I worked at the Ohio Department of Transportation, the first time I took a picture with my phone inside , gps said I was at mental institution. Also, the tiny unmarked cemetery is way back by the helipad, saw it accidentally while roaming around the property on my lunch.

With how good cell phone cameras are. People today would flock to the 7 wonders

Never knew the architect of West High School nor the 7 wonders at Westland. Should have skipped all the food trucks which certainly were not original to the Westside History. Why do them.

West side is the best side.

The crazy part is west high school is falling apart inside with kids still attending classes. A kid just got shot at Westgate Park less than a month ago. Wheres the real westside? Hookers walk the streets constantly. Drug houses on every block. While rental rates and housing prices are as high as neighborhoods without these things.... I've lived on the Westside for 43 years... I wish it was as you pretend it is in this video 💯

I thought this video would be more history, changes and how the area has evolved. Instead we got a video on Westgate and a food truck. I’m a tad underwhelmed.

Why so much on the food truck? Not even a top 5 spot. You also excluded 70% of the Westside. Fail.

Funny how they tried to make franklinton look nice when really its just drug addicts, homeless, and abandoned historic buildings they keep tearing down. The whole shopping center on Wilson is the worst area in columbus to be in. Used to look nice but now its all the ghetto.
