Trying to learn the rules and am a little confused as to why you didnt change the situation token from safe to hostile when you placed the officer standees at around 07:38?
Hi, In almost all of your games with the same mechanics, the same question arises, how to resolve the eye point of interest (eyeball), since it indicates that it cannot be explored normally again. I think we need to define explore correctly. When I'm exploring? When I enter the box with eye I am forced to directly read the entry in the book or even if I enter the box I decide whether or not I want to explore the entry in the book. This rule is the one that changes the game a lot and is the worst explained of all. Thanks
Hello. 1. Why do you roll the inner child dice when you place it on the sideboard? We did a playthrough yesterday and didn't come across a reason for it (maybe due to no combat) 2. What triggers the situation to turn hostile, I read and reread the rules and in this play through it doesn't trigger off? Our playthrough had no combat in it because the situation was always safe. Have I misread something? Thanks.
#1- Page 6 of the rulebook explains what to do when the inner child is in play. If you move onto the space with the inner child, you will read the inner child entry on the page you are on. This will present a skill test the difficulty of which is modified by the blue die result. #2- At the end of a player turn, there is the “check threat” step outlined on page 8 step 7 of the rulebook. Most hostile situations happen this way. Sometimes the story book will direct you to change the situation as well.
Wondering what happens if a space has both the inner child symbol (and the standee there) and a point of interest. Can you check the POI before the inner child event ?
