Awesome. Maybe you already knew it, but the purpose of kao is not to hurt or even kill the enemy. You use kao to knock out of his balance, and when the enemy is too close to even use elbow, so you use kao, then punch and kick the enemy while he is out of balance and breath, and you get enough distance to use elbow or fist. You know, when you hit a guy when he hold his breath, he will not get much hurt. So, please don't use kao then stand there watching your enemy fall down then get up unhurt. You should give him the final attack while he is unguardedly and helplessly. That's the purpose of kao. We use a lot of steps methods to control the enemy’s leg, also for similar purposes, knock out of his balance then give him the final attack.
Man! If someone deserves its you. Always coming with weird quality material. Alas I don't even own credit card :/ Yay broke ass country! 🇦🇷 Anyways... This one is pure gold!!!
This is very similar to what I studied years ago in Detroit. It was a Choy Li Fut class, and Sun Chien (family style) Sun system is a southern, so it goes without saying, I guess. This is a great video!
Nicely done, short, direct and practical. One point. In the second move you say the "liver" and in reality you are trying to strike the spleen. The liver is located on the right side of the human body, which is your left when striking. Too "vicious" to strike through the fingers? Probably more like people are unwilling to undergo the training necessary to be able to impart real force through the finger tips. These days, people avoid discomfort and hard work at all costs, pity that.
