Really fun to drive. Not very reliable for heavy workloads. We got several brand new SC's that we use to move a 80,000lb product, but these are consistently breaking down. It's always a hydraulic issue. Everything else is pretty solid. I have had some sketchy happenings with 80k at max height, and they hold up pretty well. An awesome tool.

This is basically a gantry crane. They have one just down the street from me. It was originally built during WWII to load military equipment onto rail cars but it was adopted for inter-model shipping containers in the 50s. Any hoo still being used to this day. They are marketing this Straddle Carrier like it is something new but it's been around for 70 years at least and they are in nearly every city in the US.
