Yeah, I agree. It's a very dynamic scene! I think it might be cool if they did one with the giant shield on the ground at the very end! It would end up having repeat minifigures, but it's so iconic!
Building the larger one was my first "big-ish" lego project, and putting them together felt really really cool. Even though it was a weird business choice to separate them, the smaller sandman fight is still pretty cool on its own. For those that can afford it and really like the theme though the combination is really fun, the broken scaffolding and the crane piece leaning really make it more dynamic looking, while in reality still being stable for displays and moving. It also has lots of room for user tweaks and character alterations. Even as a lego its one of the coolest general spidey displays ive seen, and its particularly good for fans of raimis spider man, with the goblin, doc ock, tobey, and sandman from those films. Main problems i had were i wish there was a mini sandman so you could kinda simulate him going big or small, and the crown of the statue is a bit finnicky, i kinda wish it was more locked in instead of wiggling piece by piece. Some of the clear bars for standing were also annoying to place, like the one under the scaffolding. But i highly recommend it still. if people are pretty familiar with how to assemble lego, (since theyre more complicated than smaller sets), its the best display piece to price ive seen for spider man. if you bought a full set of action figures plus a diorama like this itd cost more, its still very expensive together but definitely great for a christmas/birthday thing or to save up for
My own two cents: if you can only buy one set buy the sandman. Has the exclusive lizard… goblins and doc oc are readily available in other smaller sets
I guess it depends on a bunch of factors. For me, if I could only choose one, it would be the statue set, because of the exclusive Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. Both sets are very cool though! Thank you for watching!😃
