The match between Kid Viper vs Catpion Deb was the best match of the whole video in my opinion.These kind of matches remind me why i love fighting games and video games in general.

Is is stupid of me for wishing ark sys would buy marvel vs Capcom, make a new one and merge it with their own characters or not it doesn’t matter, like their games look stunning, I keep pausing whenever I pull of a move and every frame just shows how much effort they put into their games. Btw I’m new to guilty gear and fighting games and I need some tips so I can get good😅, I know how to pull of all of Baikens combos(she’s my favorite) but I choke online😫. Helllppppp

Question (im new to the FGC please don't hurt me xc) why is it in tournaments that players don't use instakills as disrespects or put them in combos like i see in ggxrd online but i never see it in tournaments (was wondering if theres a rule against using instakills)
Normally, tournament pressure is the reason why people don't use them. Failing to hit an IK and then getting punished for it is demoralizing and can put players in a bad mindset, so they'd rather go for solid Bread and Butter combos that secure some kind of advantage (damage, mixups after knockdown, corner-carry, etc). IKs themselves aren't "bad", but it's up to the player whether or not they use it.
Chipp's corner game already got kinda nerfed but he got more combo extension out of it (situational though). He has high execution and terrible health tho so it's ok if hes better than the rest.
