I don’t understand why some people think Phoenix is as or more disgusting than Zero, there’s such huge risks for playing her. Basically down an assist, and down a character if she ever gets hit by anything - it doesn’t cost meter to kill her. And even if she pops the lv5, it’s nowhere near a guarantee win. I think it’s way more interesting to watch than Zero steamrolling any match where he gets a clean hit on the first character.

@@Phillyboi215 if you are talking about @4:30. A few things that caused that quick death. 1. Virgil has low health as a character period. 2. While it was xfactor lvl 1, he landed 2 heavy's prior, and then a heavy and special after xfactoring. Then went into the lvl3. All this combined, is an easy death.

Way more people enter regular Marvel tournaments than palette swap tournaments. That's online and offline.

@@onlyjohn 1 issue is that a lot of characters are beyond broken. Gloria and Urien are the 1st that come to mind. 2nd issue is that a lot of them play the same. They almost all have self OTGs so their combo structures and routes are too similar. 3rd issue is that even after 12 years new tech is being found and utilized in the regular game. Watch the top 8 video specifically Mothman vs Coach Steve and you'll see something that was found only a couple months ago.
