X-Men: Children of the Atom was the first of the 'Marvel' games as we now know them. The character roster includes Akuma (as a secret character), Storm, wolverine, sentinel, spiral colossus, ect., introducing the broken gameplay we have come to expect from the series. The series continued with Marvel Super Heroes before morphing into the versus series we know today.

L the little Horse lol:0)yeah, I feel like it would be cool if if wasn't that complex and it was more arcadey type where you can just like go crazy pressing buttons and make it seem like you know what you're doing. But I don't think those fighting games exist any more. Lol which would make me and you play competitively and look like we at least know a little bit of what we're doing? :0)

2007suprasport Fighting games like that never existed. If you've been looking at arcades where people just mash on buttons on say, MvC2 or MvC1, or Tekken or whatever, they're just playing it wrong. Even something as simple as a generic fighting game with just 2 moves for each character can be strategic. But there's hope for anyone, this game is easy to learn compared to other fighting games, but also harder to master than other fighting games. If you could find a copy of UMvC3 and are willing to play it, there's a lot of helpful people on reddit.com/r/mvc3 Trust me, it's easy to learn a combo, even the 100% ones, the hard part is actually getting to use them.

I really like that Erron Black and Sonic is my favorite player. ..absolutely love watching him play. ..but I must say that game looks really hard and complicated. ..especially with all the memorization of the combos, fatalities, combo breakers and meters. .:)
