thank you so much! yeah i think the main reason there's not many guides is because there's so many updates; that's why i purposefully made this one pretty applicable to any version
This was amazing, i learned so much just with this 4 minute video, the humour was really good and the editing was well done too. I honestly hope that this will blow up, since it covers alot and is a godsend to anyone trying to learn cowboy, or yomi in general. I really hope you make more! this kind of quality with easy and especially in-depth knowledge is basically non existent since the beginning of this game. I think yomi is a gold mine with the updates its been getting and how new it is, along with the fact that people are already starting to get pretty advanced/min maxing it.
i really appreciate your comment!! i definitely worked hard on this for a month or so and seeing positive feedback like this is awesome :D i've considered doing more guides, especially since the updates are finally starting to be a bit more spread out and change less things about characters. there's for sure a CRIMINALLY low amount of yomi guides or resources, and i'm glad this helped you!! stay tuned :)
thanks for making me aware of this! the manual captions i made seem to be working as intended on my end, including the auto-translate for them. sorry they're not working for ya, but thanks so much for watching!!
you're right that almost all picks for grab, they're going to be at a range where it'll hit and beat anything slower than pommel, but i couldn't get a 1:1 rock paper scissors analogy for cowboys moveset thanks for the comment!
This was super helpful and the editing was great too! Ain’t too many other putting stuff like this out. Don’t leave us hanging! I wanna get into Ninja too!
@@DISKollection TBH I only know this from labbing a zero to death in solo play. Was the only way for me to extend the combo at one point. That and empty mag gun toss.
ótimo vídeo introdutório do personagem, mas acho que também seria bom acrescentar que o temporal round e o 1000 cuts são cancelados se o cowboy levar qualquer dano
basically, draw just automatically shoots a bullet if your move misses. it protects you from being easily punished if someone walks away from your horizontal slash, for example. if the move connects, no bullet is taken :) hope this helped
hey thats cool! but u ever tried god of stickifghts? its like this but the game is really a fighting game and its better animated, if u never play it i can give u a key (I won a few)
it's just generally a good habit / ethic i'm used to from playing fighting games, any username could potentially be traced to someone's twitter or something
hey! i appreciate your feedback, and tried to address how i wanted to make this a more general guide within the first 15 seconds of the video, but could you please elaborate on what move usage i got incorrect?
@@DISKollection biggest problems propably idk im not cowboy main: -encouragin to block isnt very good, block is extremly unsafe and u can easily win most of matches without blocking on neutral at all -i appreciate the effort of making rock paper scisors image but did in any point of making that come to your mind that grab beats both block and attack, so that rps imaginary doesnt make any sense, yes this game has rps, but its mostly between minihop/grab/jab attack, which actually contains 3 moves countering each one of those losing to other one -saying that dash is comitial/understating its power in neutrak was wierd -i would like to laugh ur take about warp stance but ill give u past, it was new at that time, but yeah objectively worse than teleport was in nost cases -btw instant teleport is like one of the most imporant moves for cowboy in agressive playstyles so just ignoring it is also very weird -okay i might be wrong about patch because that has changed a lot but lslice is pretty good combo extender combined with teleport -also 3 combo is sick combo extender when u space it to just hit last hitbox There is some of them
Hi, i'm a High Level Cowboy Player and i loved the Editing and Humour, but the content itself don't address the general meta and cowboy most succesful playstyles, being quite misleading and leading people to playing worse in the long term. I recommend spending more time on the community servers and with the competitive playerbase to get a better sense on the characters before making guides for them, you should have a great understanding on them before making guides. If you want to keep the video up, i reccomend changing the title to say this is a Low Level Cowboy guide, and stop doing guides for now, come join the Cowboy Server and keep making videos tho!! i hope for the best, thanks for reading :)
i appreciate your feedback! definitely tried to keep the fact that i haven't gotten into the game at a high level pretty transparent, and wanted to point out how the guide aimed to be more general and concise since the game changes so much and has such a rapidly evolving meta. i can definitely see how a few people want a more in-depth and competitive focused guide, but i'm not really much for tournaments or "optimal" play in this game since i don't think that's the point of it for me really. who knows though, i might upload an in-depth first tournament run or competitive follow-up sometime! thanks for the comment :)
