We recently took a seven-night eastern Mediterranean cruise aboard the Regal Princess with Princess Cruise Line. We sailed from Rome Italy to Athens Greece with stops in Naples Italy, Kusadasi Turkey (for Ephesus Turkey), Istanbul Turkey, Mykonos Greece, and ended in Athens Greece. This was an amazing cruise and one we have always wanted to take. If you have ever wondered about a Mediterranean cruise and what there is to do, this video will help with that. With so much planning involved this is sure to give you ideas that will help take some stress off. Princess Cruise Line was our choice for this vacation, but there are several other fantastic cruise lines available that go to similar areas. Even if you take another cruise line, this video will still help you with learning some of the tours available at each port.

Yes, a great deal of Western culture has its roots in Ancient Greece. That’s why people should study the Humanities - Philosophy, History, Classical Literature, etc. Just wanted to throw that out there since so many seem to think we should only focus on STEM classes. That may be where the money is, but who we are is found in the Humanities. Thanks for the video!

We’re heading off for that exact cruise on Enchanted Princess on the 13th May.. flying in from Australia a week earlier in an AirBnB and catching a train to Venice for the day before returning to Rome and the joining our cruise 2 days later and then staying in Athens AirBnB for a week after the cruise before we head to Dubai again in an AirBnB at JBR beach for a week before heading back to Australia.. taking our 18 year old daughter with us and can’t wait and thanks for the great review..

Looking to take a 10 day cruise to Italy and Greece with Norwegian! First time planning one so your video was very helpful! I am definitely interested in a tour company. One thing I’m paranoid about is missing an all aboard but I’m sure these tour companies will figure all of that out.

Thank you, we’re glad our video could help you. Tour companies are, in my opinion, the best way to see another country. If you get a reputable company you shouldn’t have any issues getting back to the port on time. The good companies are use to the cruise line time frames and do a good job. We didn’t have any issues with ours and had a great time. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. You will enjoy Greece, it’s a great country.

Thanks, we are so glad you liked the video. We had several companies we used. For a few of the ports, we made longer videos and provided the info of the tour company. In Rome, Rome Private Excursions. In Athens, Athens Insiders. Most of the rest of the companies we used we booked through Viator. Sure. When we were in Athens we stayed at one called “Your stay at Homer & Isabella’s place” and in Rome we stayed at “Your stay at Sabrina’s place”. Hope this helps.
