It is a creative dance by the Kalinga Tribe of Igorots. The dance routine including the gong play is patterned after the song "Come and Go with Me". The gong players would beat to the lyrics of the song: "Come and go with me to my Father's house, To my Father's house, to my Father's house. Come and go with me to my Father's house; There is joy, joy, joy!" and the dancers would try to act the lyrics. I hope that helped. :)

Hello sir, the video was posted 12 years ago and it was recorded in a CD to be sold for 2 years or something for commercial purposes. Hindi po ako ang producer at pre-recorded po ang music ng video na kung saan nahire lang yung mga performers dyan. Tinuturo po yan sa lahat ng cultural dance groups sa Baguio kahit po ang sakusak.

Totoong sound ng gong po yan pero hindi talaga sila yung tumugtog. Dubbed lang yung sound nila, problema hindi sila nag give credit sa sound nila.

This was recorded before naging sikat ken inmado iti cultural groups ditoy Baguio and the video was meant to be part of CD showcasing the different kinds of Igorot dance. Kadatayo nga nagisuro, nagsuro, nangpadas ken akin aya-ayam ti gangsa ket madlaw tayo nga recorded. I remember clearly nga 2004 ket ada ti iis-istorya jay am-ammok nga iLubuagan nga pakantaen yo nga taga-Kalinga ti gansa iti "Come and Go with Me." Daytoy video ket nairelease a year before ko in-upload ta maishare kuma nga buyaen ti tat-tao. :)

Hello ma'am. Actually the gongs that you are hearing is pre-recorded, as expert performers and players would see the difference clearly. Here, on the video above you can see that the men are not typically beating the gong for the "sinungbat" but are actually beating in the "depdep" form to create an image that they are playing it.

only few can make this gong tune. come and go with me, tom duley, dong dong ay. 1 was perfomed in Lubuagan Laga Festival 2011.
