I'm so terrified for you and Cassidy to try Dragonbone Chair. It is George RR Martin's direct inspiration and has a range of moral compasses in its characters, but that middle be slug like. If you push through, it's so good and the writing is beautiful. Most people quite because either the middle bores them too much or they hate Simon (no, he's no vanilla farm boy, he's just a brat).

I'm reading A Dawn of Onyx right now and I have A Promise of Peridot as well, but damn that cliffhanger ending. Ah well, maybe I'll just reread them closer to the release of the third book. I like this kind of video. I'm so jealous of the bookstores you have in the US!

Is Dawn of onyx very spicy? I am ok with some spice like 2/5 but not much. If it’s like throne of glass or less then I’ll read it. I really want to read it becuse it sounds good but I don’t like much spice.
