She bought the cooking stuff Bc she didn’t get a meal plan Bc the dining hall wouldn’t have that many vegan options so she chose to spend the money she would’ve spent on a meal plan for groceries every week :)

Yess!! My college gave us 2 days to move everything out. Half of the stuff they most likely won’t even use, it will be under the bed or stuffed in the closet. But in this climate that we’re in, I wouldn’t buy too much stuff because they might tell them to pack up and leave. And idk why she would stay in the dorm if all of her classes are online. I and many other students cancelled our housing because all of our classes are online. It’s a waste of money honestly.

Shante Carter Totally agree with you! It’s not worth it especially if classes are online and there’s a high probable chance of campus closing. I was kicked out of my dorm too, and like I’m not even bothering to purchase anything for the new semester. 😬

UofA is a two hour drive from Phoenix, so she won’t be having as much as a problem with bringing suitcases:) I live here and plenty of my friends who go to UA come back and forth every weekend because it’s a very easy trip! So if she did need to move out, even within 24 hours, she could take 2-3 trips back to phoenix for stuff in one day if needed, plus her mom and sister also have cars!

I’m also a freshman wanting to make the best out of college even with everything that’s going on bc i’m a ~human being~ and reading these comments just makes me more anxious than I already am, props to ella for having to balance all of this. I’m not bringing nearly as much stuff and I did not buy anything from urban bc its EXPENSIVE and I only have a dorm ofc but she has money, am I gonna judge? no

Letícia Araújo hi, I’m sorry if my comment seemed judgmental but me and other people are trying to help. I mean if we weren’t in the environment that we’re in, none of us would be worried. But, I know where I live, NJ, cases are rising again and we have to wait for our governor to give the colleges an ok for people to move in. And Arizona is a hot spot. Also, all of our college experiences are getting ruined but paying $4000-$7000 for housing and meal plans are ridiculous at the moment when you could be sent home a week later. And if they do send you guys home, you’re not getting that money back, it’s in the contracts that we signed. Just be safe and I wish you the best in college 😊

it’s not her problem to worry about other people’s money, if she makes her own money she can spend it how she likes. most people won’t compare themselves to somebody with 2 million subscribers. It’s her channel, obviously she has autonomy over it. No one is saying she doesn’t. @@briAgu55 id agree with you if she were dropping thousands in a luxury shopping spree, but this is just her shopping for a dorm. as i said she is very privileged, but also makes her money herself. she can spend it how she likes to and the entire point of the video was to show her shopping, if somebody didn’t want to watch it they could’ve clicked out. it’s just the content that’s relative to a teen girl going to college. she supports charities in her videos, no it’s not solving world hunger but she knows how to do her part and how to use her platform for good.

It’s a lot more glamorous if you have money...no shade to her but it’s true
