I came to these lessons not to long ago. I am so faraway from God, even as I was raised and born in to the church. The more I hear and study these beautiful gospel by these two angels I can hear the voice of the lord to me saying; Nefi there are still hope for you although the long path there are still hope and I am going to try even in the depths of my soul that are in sin and darkness I have to try :( Thank you both of you to teach that path! I will try.
Us too! There are a lot of others out there with their own content, very entertaining and informative, but I've never found one as good as Taylor & Tyler. We always carve out time for them!
Man o man if they were to make you teachers and put you in the public school system that would be a remarkable thing for our country and students. But I know they would throw you out even though y'all have great teaching skills and the guidance of the spirit. Thank God we have you to teach us in the church! This church is truly the Church of Jesus Christ and his leadership. Please continue in this great role of teaching the Lord's students week by week. I'm grateful at this time for RU-vid carrying these lessons so it will brighten our lives and Future in Jesus Christ. Thank you and thank all of those behind the scenes working so hard to make this program possible. God bless all of the families involved also. This program certainly brightens up my week, for every year that goes by I can see further ahead By the Light of Christ. Many years before I only had a flicker of light and now the flicker is gone and I can see further ahead. What a great blessing it is to have the companionship of our savior hard at work on each of us!

Thank you, Tyler and Taylor, your lessons on Come Follow Me are the biggest blessing that came with COVID, because I don’t think that these lessons would be online had it not been for the virus. I cherish each lesson and carry some of your wisdom into our Sunday School lessons via Zoom or in person here in Germany! Your knowledge and guidance has inspired my life immensely. Another magnificent lesson. There are points raised in these videos that I miss through my personal studies. It also comes back to the principle of 'line upon line'. I love what was said about the body. At times I tell the Lord everything would be perfect in life if it wasnt for the body and all its requirements. At the same time I know the body is a gift, and I know that through the challenges of the body, my spirit grows in grace and patience. I do draw near to God whenever he counsels me on what I can do to align myself with the will of the spirit first. I also love what was said about law and covenants. God is a detailed God. He gets right into the crux of our lives, and helps us handle everything not just some things or the big things. Everytime I learn more about the Lord in all ways, I get a clearer picture of him and I know more of what he would have me do. My relationship with the Saviour has grown stronger, and CFM has been a huge part of that journey. That is why I always watch and try to keep up with the presentations. The spirit of the Lord is here, and is the reason I keep coming back ❤.
It is astounding that you brought up the cosmic level of space and light which I have been working on during my daily meditation. I believe that our ultimate goal is to be One with Him!
Thank you for speaking about the timing of promised blessings and that we need to trust the Lord. I am in that situation where I have fasted and prayed, plead, and agonized over my deepest desire and fondest hope for literally decades. Some of my hopes won’t ever happen in mortality now (which has been a deeply painful pill to swallow) and some I still plead will happen. And I have sat there in meetings and pondered what is wrong with my faith, with me, why my tears don’t seem to mean anything, that I must not mean anything to the Lord, or I must have to be perfect first in order to get those blessings, etc. (all those bad, dark thoughts that are wrong). I realize that He knows the whole situation and I should trust Him. I know (once this crucible trial is over) that I will look back and see that He gave me the best. Currently, it’s sometimes difficult to fathom what on earth I’m so dense about that it’s better for me to walk this trial than not and I fervently pray that I’ll learn it once and for all so I can move forward. But, I am grateful for the reminder that the blessings are promised and to trust the Lord and to trust Him and His knowledge. Thank you ❤️.

I just gave a talk in sacrament meeting last month on D&C 76 and taught that we can be assured of exaltation as we “always have His Spirit to be with them” (us). This is why the sacrament is the central covenant of the Sabbath. As we have the spirit with us we are living in the light and therefore living the celestial law. We need to understand that God is a merciful Father and all he wants is our company eternally, just as we yearn for a child we have lost or who is far away from us.
I have always interpreted verse 79 as meaning all knowledge of God. His voice is found through prayer to above the earth and revelations from his prophets. His voice is found upon the earth from his ministry upon the Earth contained in the Bible. His voice is found from under the earth as scripture , the Book of Mormon, came and others will come from recordings made by prophets. Not everyone can obtain secular educations but it is our goal as a Church to bring spiritual knowledge to all. If we have Spiritual knowledge then all else can be added there on. I love the knowledge you present for me to enjoy. I did not grow up with the opportunity for seminary or institute classes. This is presenting me with that personal experience. Thank you. You are both wonderful spirit filled teachers and I also enjoy your guests. I feel like I am at a well laid table. I will partake.

Beautiful pictures today. It is lovely to read about these kingdoms of glory and the light of Christ. What nice steps to go from servant to friend to son or daughter. A progression that teaches us the importance of serving God who serves us and gives far more payment than I can fathom at present.

I find that whenever I watch one of these presentations, I think in my mind: Which of these verses, ideas, and sermons should I address, first?!! Study of the gospel truths in seciton 88, is lofty but break it down folks or you will become discouraged! Pick on one thing at a time to "work" on. Then go back week after week and take another bite. After all these years in the church (I am 75), where am I? The Tyler and Taylor team give hope not distress!
One of my favorite sections of scripture handled in a masterful way. I would love to hear what you and the production crew could do if there was not a time constraint. I would posit that learning from good books would also include all available media that is grounded in truth. Thank you.

Hi Taylor and Tyler! I have to admit it, but I like to refer to body (tongue in cheek) as my "uncomfortable earth suit" 😜. This is my practice body - I will eventually be trusted with an up-graded model 😅.
@@amieyoung9409 Yes, we will be resurrected in our current bodies, but without all the aches and pains that we experience in mortality. My wife of 50+ years is so looking forward to this as she is in a lot of constant pain from degenerative arthritis (bone on bone in the sockets) in her hips.

The Spirit and body mean the soul. The way, discipline the body must be a very important responsibility. Thanks for your encouragement to take care of the body. I found some to improve myself better, I’m sure it takes times but I keep trying to work on them better than the past I was. Your excellent lesson brought me comfort, peace and hope, so I keep trying to be loyal and faithful to Christ by relying on His Atonement and grace. The Spirit was powerful! I'm needing to watch this earlier in the week and repeat. There is so much information. I've committed to watching this, after reading it and doing the Come Follow Me lesson plan. I want to do this on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so it is fresh in my mind when we have Sunday School.

Taylor- Hebrew word for friend could be Re'eh Reish/Ayin/Hei. Reish can be viewed as the mind. Ayin can be understood as the eye or fountain. Finally, Hei sometimes is yoke. In this case the minds eye is yoked. We are friends with Christ when our minds eye is yoked to him. As we progress may each of us move closer and be yoked to Christ Jesus.

Please Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe that the sun, the moon and the stars do you have agency because they are Celestal in nature, living a Celestial law even as the earth lives a celestial law, they are completely obedient to Gods Will without hesitancy. We know when Jesus commanded the storm to be still, the elements instantly obeyed. Why is that , it’s because the earth will eventually be a celestial kingdom, because it obeys a celestial law, being perfectly obedient to God‘s will. Unlike the natural man who isn’t always obedient to God‘s law and will. Only those who are celestial in spirit are perfectly willing to do Gods will including the moon and the stars and the sun. ☀️
Also I do understand that life is a process line upon line. But I do know when we get a prompting to do something we can either be obedient to that promoting and do Gods will or we can ignore that prompting. We always have a choice in obeying Gods will or not. There’s been times when God has prompted me that it’s his will that I move to a certain area or work a certain job usually some thing I absolutely don’t want to do, but I have found when I choose to do it anyway there’s always a great blessing in it. That’s the difference, obeying Gods will or not. Living a celestial law obedient to Gods Will or living a lower law doing ones own will and ignoring gods promptings.
... also We know from the teachings of the prophet’s of the Prophets that the earth has a spirit and had a spirit before it was created physically. And we know this earth is going to eventually become the celestial kingdom, so it only goes to show that the earths spirit is celestial and obeys Gods will and Laws without hesitation.
This part of the video made me pause, too. Agency is a major factor in God's plan and I believe this same law is given to all creations. I think it is a testament to the obedience to this law that creations other than man abide by it so faithfully having agency to do so.
I love everything you both shared and I am amazed at the list of books Taylor has read in total. Wow. I started to read more books since the beginning of Covid-19 and I love it. I thought what Tyler said about patriarchal blessing is profound. Hopefully you guys will still teach us Old Testament next year.

@@rfifita First, I turned off the news and social media years ago. That saves me a couple of hours a day. Second, I switched to audio books. Third, I listen when I'm driving, walking, doing chores. Fourth, I built up my ability to listen to audio books at faster and fast speeds. So when I listen at 3x normal speed, a 6 hour audio book only takes me 2 hours. And there is about that much extra time in the day (driving, walking, chores, etc.) to crank through a book a day.
I love your CFM lessons and follow you regularly. Just one thing I might suggest.. You say that holding grudges only hurts the people who are holding them… They don’t hurt the people for whom the grudges are held against. I would say that they hurt everyone. When a child alienates a parent who actually was not abusive but because of bad counseling thinks they were. Not getting to see your children or ever know your grandchildren because someone with psychological power and influence. Unforgiveness hurts everyone involved 😢

Many people believe that when the Lord talks about cleansing the earth with fire that it is literal. But when we are baptized by fire we aren't literally on fire so I wonder if the earth is truly going to be cleansed by literal fire the way so many of us imagine or believe. It was baptized by literal water but we are also baptized by literal water
I've always understood that part of the reason that Adam and Eve ate the apple and part of the reason for the fall and mortality of all of us who chose to follow Jesus Christ was so that we would all know the difference between the good and the bad, joy and sorrow, etc. We wouldn't know Joy if we didn't know sorrow by living in mortality in the flesh. If that's so, how can Satan be miserable if he never received a body? I'm assuming that somewhere along there I am mistaken. Thank you

The Jews are known as 'The Chosen', I would ask if there was something that happened or was fore-ordained that Jesus would claim them as 'His own' or that makes them 'The Chosen '? I looked over your very versatile book list for 2021 and 2020. You are a well rounded reader. The question I have is, do you speed read, skim and scan, or are you an average reader?
How I've understood it, is that we are the spiritual children of the Father, but through the use of Christ's Atonement we are adopted by Him and become His children in addition to being the Father's children.
