Great lady! I was on her all female flight - we didn't know until we landed that it was an all girl flight.

Every time I watch another interview with this woman, I cry, she's amazing and this musical is just a wonderful thing.

I didn't think about them having to dump fuel. But it makes sense for safety. Still, that is a major decision.

When an airplane has to jettison fuel, do they just dump it. Did she have to dump those 7000lbs of fuel inyo the Atlantic or did she mean she flew and burned it off. Just curious. I know this day was a very different day then anotmal and whatever they had to do to reach safety is what they need to do (btw, I’m from NL so I know the inside and out of this story) but is jettisoning fuel by dumping into the ocean even a little bit of a common occurrence? Also, just want to say that every person involved in this story, whether it was the NLers or Americans were all amazing. I am so proud this became a musical!! I went to the school in Lewisporte which now receives the generous and gracious scholarship set up by a few of those who spent a few days there and I want to say “thank you”! We come from small towns around that area and parents paying tuition from their children’s university education just mostly doesn’t happen. When I left university, I had 10s of thousands of dollars worth of debt that I had to start paying down in 6 months. My parents couldn’t contribute any money, though they sure wish they could’ve. I would never say that tragedies such as this happens for a reason, there was no good reason for what happened on New York city but what did come from it, like these relationships, this play, the scholarships are the silver lining that no one thought could ever be found during that time. Bless all of you. ❤️
