So... Nena... today I'm not taking a walk somewhere here in the city..... today I'm bringing a revolution to the way I do video's here on RU-vid.... today... I take you on a bus ride (this is the part where you act shocked as if you hadn't read the titles of the video already 👀). Can you feel the creativity radiating off of me? 😏😎
Lol no, but seriously though, today we take a bus ride!
Here we don't have trains (anymore) and instead, we have lots busses driving daily on their specific routes. The busses have names on the front and the rear side of them so you know which bus you're taking.
"Names" of the busses tell you what route they go on. They show that by having initials on them like the bus that I take in this videos with the initials "PK" on it. The "P" let's you know that the bus starts its route in Paramaribo and the "K" let's you know that it takes the "Kwatta" route (this is a main road here").
There are different kinds of busses here like "PL" (Paramaribo Lelydorp), PSB (Paramaribo Santo Boma), but there are also other busses that don't have initials on them, but that instead have a number on them ranging from 1 - 10. They just have a number on them and with these busses you can't "read" their route on them, but fret not, Nena, you can just do what I do! Ask a random bus driver what bus you need to take to get to your destination and they'll happily yell you what bus you need to take.
