God forgive me for what I did to my own people... granny didnt raise me like that. She always told me I was special .... and it took 8 years ago to realize the power of the great I am!! She use to sit at night when she thought I was sleep. She use to cry with her arms folded.. didnt understand I helped my granny with cancer she was so sick , awe man! Granny couldnt eat . Said it made her sick to smell food. But she played this song.. when I was a little boy. And as I sit as a 37 yrs old man. And I am a witness ... 5 months ago I was in the ICU, and I told everyone that Jesus is my doctor! I lost 9 units of blood and had to have a hysterectomy after giving birth and today I'm fully healed and healthy. My fast recovery was unexpected by doctors! But not unexpected from my doctor, hes a healing God and his name is JESUS! Thank you lord! I'm here!

@@brentjames6410 Hallelujah..for the healing of your open heart surgery. I had open heart surgery in 2015 and God blessed me and healed me. I'm now 57 and now have another valve that's leaking (mitral valve) and may require open heart surgery. Pray for me. I'm believing God for healing that I won't need surgery. If I do, he will heal me and bless me through the second surgery.
My mother always tells us that Jesus is our Doctor. Even when going to the Doctor she prays that Jesus hands go over the Doctor hands. My uncle was sick with Covid and his survival was 20%, but we prayed and God sent us a miracle and brought our uncle back. Keep the faith.

The Blackwood Brothers, The Kingsmen Quartet, The Cathedrals...stuff like that. Then, one day, I discovered groups like The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Teddy Huffam & The Gems, the different Mass Choirs...and all of them are real good, mighty good! As an old saying goes:If that don't light your fire, your wood's wet! I thank God for having music out there that can lift you up in God! I thank him also for his word!! Praise God for it all!!!

I've been singing this song since Monday and I had a issues come up, a problem that I knew my future was dependent on it. I went in my closet got on my knees looked up and told God to, "come on in my room". You dont have to be sick to call on the Lord. Its Thursday and my situation is taken care of; The Most High assured me that what's for me was for me and no DEVIL has ever been able to abort the plan of God. I'm telling my story because you guys God is real, Jesus is here. He gave me my medicine to cure my worry, anxiety so I can stop worrying and sure enough he gave me my medicine in my room. Keep faith everyone, keep believing, just go in your room close the door and Jesus will meet you and the Holy Ghost will greet you, theres Joy unspeakable joy in that room. Amen

My dear sweet friend Irene is in a Rehab facility on the south side of Chicago. Irene is a young 98 years young Lady who has been through a lot. She survived the death of her only daughter and she took care of her son with autism who is still alive and dealing with his own mental health. Irene is the true definition of "QUEEN". God bless her and everyone here who is going through some changes.

My baby brother was just months old and had a cardiac arrest... was airlifted to a hosptital. My baby brother passed out for 20 minutes without a heart beating. And i thank the love, the mercy, the greatness of our god. He cameback as strong as ever. And now i look back at this and say .... JESUS IS MY DOCTOR... and say it again... Yes Jesus is my doctor.He has healed me from a lump in my breast,the doctors said I had Cancer,and when I went back for check up they said nothing was showing up. I know that was God showing up and heal me instantly amen.

I'm not religious but I am African American and there is just something about these older gospel songs that speak to my core. From my class and time in school I know what it took for them to sing like this and it moves me. I can't imagine the overt racism, discriminations, sexism, and violence the people before us had to not olny survive, but thrive through. It's amazing, and it makes me extremely proud to come from this stock.
