Still so beautiful to see the mountains, waterfalls, and some ice. Yeah I’d be little sad to miss a glacier. But that’s real nature for you. Alaska is a whole other level of remote rugged, out there nature compared to places like the Caribbean. I’d be happy to stay on the ship and watch from the top decks or maybe take an excursion to ride in a smaller boat just to see the water up close even there was not much ice. Thanks for the videos! Stay cool in TX, we’re hot here! Need some Alaska right now lol.

I think I most definitely would have been disappointed. But as you say, read the fine print. It’s an expensive trip and when you only get half of what was supposed to be delivered, only natural you feel shortchanged. However, whether it’s a big ship or a little one, the captain has to take responsibility for his boat, crew and passengers. Thank you for the scenery and honest appraisal, also for the tip on how to book shore trips. We are on the Luminosa 7/9 then it’s transpacific on 14/9. Back to Brisbane 🇦🇺it’s summer port.
