Billy Vaughn had the biggest hit of this in the US charting at no. 55 in Cashbox, 70s in billboard......however it was a massive hit in Brazil, Argentina and most of Latin and South America, likewise Japan.......Thanks for this, I love it. It was one of Billy's best and you did a fine job recreating it!

Hi Charley, Watched your Come September a number of times and enjoyed. I have remained mad after this tune right from my school going age and only this tune drove my interest towards guitar, but could not materialize learning guitar then. Now, I am on my 56th year of age and have started learning guitar as well as Western Music Theory. Your video really took me to my youthful age. Thank you very much. Charley Chun Hey Charley, excellent to hear that you have resumed guitar playing at your 56 and I wish you have to continue with it. I like your playing guitar very much. I too learn guitar through DVD courses viz. "Learn and Master Guitar with Steve Krenz" (practical - full of techniques), a good foundation course and another one "Absolutely Understand Guitar" by Scotty West (mostly theory). Planning to undergo a private tuition to cover the syllabus of grade exams conducted by the Trinity College of Music London. Regards.

Never heard this one for years Charley .I`ve got the chart version in cupboard which was done by what they called The Bobby Darin Orchestra as it was from film Come September ( 1961 ) starring Bobby Darin and his to become missus Sandra Dee . It was a nice bouncy catchy tune without being great .Liked your playing and from what I remember your guitar sounds much like my record . Well done .
