Come, Sweet Death by J.S. Bach 

I have been in love with this piece for over 60 years. I still believe that Virgil Fox did more for organ appreciation than can be imagined,,

I had not heard this piece from Bach before, it sounds different from his other works. I find so interesting. A new favorite.

This is the first time I have ever seen someone other than Virgil Fox, or Carlo Curly play this classic. It brought the same emotions. I live in a world of Bach. Of course Allen beats all electric organs.

WOW! If anyone remembers or have ever seen photos of the YOUNG Virgil! THIS young g man is IT! Glasses, HAIR and organ posture and movements on this piece. Virgil would approve and be honored.

The Q475 replaces the Q470. It includes the new string division, as well as some changes to the pedal division. The organ is now 89 stops and has four more audio channels. The specification will be updated on our website shortly.

Magnificent performance. The intimacy of the title is beautifully expressed.

Not since the days of Black Beauty and the Heavy Organ concerts has an electronic instrument sounded so moving in a concert type venue where the instrument was asked to provide such a rich spectrum of sound, and did it in turn deliver that sound so well.

I had the opportunity to hear this new organ with these lush new string samples in person on a recent visit to the factory - while the video sounds wonderful, you simply cant imagine how much better it sounds in person. All I can say is WOW! Great job Aram, playing one of my favorite arrangements of this Bach piece.

The toughest part, in my opinion, is the decrescendo at the end - getting the registration to change smoothly. I still haven't got that figured out.

Omagosh...I'm all teary eye'd now....wow...one of these days I'll master this number, so far, half way and that's as far as I can get....LOVE the top note....absolutely "sweet"....Come Sweet Jesus!...thank you for sharing your God given talent!

Yep, the sound here surely brings back memories of Virgil Fox on the Skinner at Riverside Church in New York. At the end my only anticipation was for Aram to take the 2' plenum up to the mixtures and reeds on those climax measures like Virgil use to do before bringing the full organ back down to a whisper. Nevertheless, I hung on to EVERY note it was so good--tremelos and ALL!
