That’s really neat. I listened to the lyrics recently and was altogether blown away. Music just isn’t written like that much anymore. It’s like the melody and the words were all intended to express heartfelt worship to God.

I started playing violin at 8, went to state Solo & Ensemble for multiple years through High School. I haven't wanted to play the violin since before the start of my Sophomore year, but kept at it for reasons. I'm now 44, and hearing this song, you've made me want to pick it up again. I even texted a link to the sheet music to my wife as an idea for Father's Day. Thanks for sharing this arrangement. It's simply beautiful. I'd love to somehow get a hold of the piano backing sheet music, but couldn't find it on the store. I'll have to figure it out, in the meantime.

A random thought on the video title; take it or leave it: the current title makes it sound as though "Come Thou Fount on Violin" is the name of the song. At least to me. I'm not sure how you would make that clearer without making the title seem verbose, but my suggestion would be something like Come Thou Fount - Taryn Harbridge, Violin or Come Thou Fount - Taryn Harbridge Violin Cover but then again I don't know; I'm not a RU-vid content creator.

At least... that's what I do when I'm looking for something. I always write "name of song on violin" so that I get the song and the instrument I want to hear it on. Love the way you make the hymn sound! I'm always anticipating those jumps to lower strings (I don't know what you call it) and 'diddly' bits that just bring the music to life. Beautiful violin interpretation. The violin and the piano playing together are really a wonderful duo as long as the piano doesn’t dominate over the violin as it does in the later part of the piece. Still a wonderful rendition to use as I learn this on my violin.
