Yes, I love that concept because it can get boring to have the same decor year after year. But if I buy a few items secondhand with the intention of returning them, I don't feel bad.
I like to purchase real mini pumpkins and a couple of big pumpkins and use them to decorate with……then when the season is over you can throw them away and not have to store them.

Went thrifting yesterday and found a really cute high end denim jacket for 9.99 and a necklace for 2.99. The shop was very well organized and big. They would ask everyone if they wanted to round up their purchase to the next dollar because it helps our local homeless shelters.
I found a designer wool coat for $4 and a designer linen tunic for $2. My favorite way to shop, and proceeds go to help the needy. Win all the way around around
I feel the same way about thrift stores. I’m paying a rental fee and when I donate the item back or to another thrift store, I’m helping the charity groups twice! 🎉 I recently thrifted a beautiful bowl that after I decided to purchase it, I realized it was half price! 🎉
Excellent find on both dresses! My local thrift store had all of their summer clothing marked half off this past weekend so I was able to get a skirt and three tops for myself for $20 and four Tops for my mom for $18! Also, I helped a friend declutter her closet over the weekend. She parted with 6 1/2 large garbage bags of clothes in just two hours with my help. 😳 Not only did she pay me to help her, she also said I could take anything I wanted because we are similar size and so I ended up with two new dresses and a couple of tops from that as well. New inventory in my closet means I can now get rid of a few things that I am tired of that don’t fit.

Well Shannon you have willpower. Thrifting builds or breaks my minimal muscles. I do not have small children, but like just a few seasonal items just to change up a bit. Loooooove that vase! Good choice Cathy!
So funny! My friends & I have "Thrifting Days"! Tho we talk each other out of most of it as we're trying to stay decluttered😂 Sometimes, consignment stores are a good place to get rid of stuff! Luv you & Kathy❤

Some of the pumpkins were cute. I love overalls! 💕😂 The primary coloured drawers are cute and yes… old school style. Like the 90s. It’s probably made with thicker plastic. Good deal! Okay. That thrift store was so nice and clean. It had some cute stuff too! Ours have been looking dirty and nasty. They seem to be over cluttered or completely picked through lately. 😩

Yes! I love thrift store hauls. You aren’t too old for the overalls Shannon! I had a pair when I was your age that were shorts! I too go to a small thrift store that donates to local charities. It too is very neat and organized and the lady who runs it is so very nice. When we moved into our house last November we donated a huge painting from our condo which was there when we bought it and never liked it so we shoved it under the bed. Where it stayed for over 6 years! We donated it and the lady was able to sell it asap to a lady and her daughter for I believe $50! It was of a girl looking out in the ocean. Someone’s trash really is another’s treasure. Recycle and reuse. Hi from SC!😊💕🏝️
I’m excited a thrifting video ❤️ I am always tempted to add to my fall collection, but I have narrowed it down to a small bin, and if I buy something I would have to pick something to donate, so far I am just keeping my fall items that fit in my bin

No overalls or jumpers for me - they fall onto the floor when you use them in public restroom! (nasty) The two dresses you tried on were very flattering and you looked gorgeous in them - glad you got them!! It looked like lots of fun - I was smiling all through the video!!

There are two thrift stores that I buy from, I can find things there that have their original price tags (not everything). In general they are careful about what they accept. So I donate and shop at both of these.
