You are such a great inspiration! I love that you only use thrifted sheets for your sewing projects! You have encouraged me to start checking out the bedding section at thrift stores instead of buying more expensive fabrics. Thank you for the inspiration! Love your channel😊

I have been traveling the southern states in a vintage trailer. Thrift stores are my favorite places to explore. I have a similar shopping theory. I am looking at fiber content, fit, interesting details, and the condition of the garment. I am a bit busty so I am also looking for "refashion potential" in the men's department. I don't sew with sheets anymore, but I have found some tablecloths and curtains looking for new lives. I am from the border of IL and WI so... I am having quite the 2nd hand tour! Yesterday, in South Carolina, I found a white cotton lawn embroidery Anglais with navy blue accent embroidery and a thick cotton khaki men's shirt that will make a great garden apron.

Haha…I don’t know?! I think it’s about the pieces themselves, the leopard pieces I like are super classic shapes and not edgy so even though it’s bold, I think at the core it’s just a sweater and a long skirt…but it’s my new favorite combo!
