I love thrifting! The map textile is an awesome piece for a nursery! I have found awesome items lately such as a like new grey marble Calvin Klein Jeans sweatshirt, glass pitcher with a simple orange fruit design, and an expandable round table. I love that all of the items have been under $15 and in awesome condition! I would be nervous buying a chair from a thrift store.

Oh hey..I don’t mean to sound weird or anything and I am not trying to be snarky but as someone who has had 2 babies you might want to rethink the picture that you have hanging over the crib. Once your baby starts to be able to pull themselves up it could be dangerous to have there. She could pull it down or get caught under it or get cut on the corners or edges of it. I am so glad you bought that chair with the interesting bottom. It looks great in there and it’s so unique.

I'm just getting into thrift shopping and buying secondhand so I'd totally enjoy a thrifting tips video from you on how you find good thift or antique places, estate sales, flea markets, etc. and how to spot the good stuff and not get overwhelmed by everything (my problem when I shop, I feel like there is SO MUCH to sift through).

Good finds! Some nice mid-century pieces there! Hope the prices were good. The best part is negotiating! :) Also - might those silos be for the flour factories in Minnesota? I watched a documentary show called "Aerial America" and they talked about the rivaling flour mills, which sort of look like those in your cloth! Nice find.

Keep that map forever- the same one was in my house when I moved in and it’s so old it doesn’t have Alaska or Hawaii and some of the pictures for the states aren’t politically correct so it is a treasure haha!!

I subscribe to a newsletter from EstateSales.net and they send out a weekly email with all the upcoming sales in my area! They're usually a day or weekend long for the sales. Hope that helps!

Be careful with that rolling chair with your baby in your arms. It is a really cute piece, but I would hate to think of it rolling out from under you when you go to sit in it.
