Don't do it girl. I got heat damage after going 2 week after my first appointment!

Aww, heat damage is the worst! I no longer live in Texas so I don’t go there anymore. However, I get my hair straightened where I am now and I’m starting to see some heat damage because I wear my hair straight all the time now and add clip ins. I think no matter where, if you’re natural you’ll most likely get heat damage if you do it often. I used to get my hair straightened every 3 months or so and that helped me retain my curl pattern.

Thank you ❤️ It honestly lasted almost 4 weeks. When I get my hair silk pressed I wrap it every night to maintain it. I stretch silk presses as long as I can. I’m 100% natural now so I only get silk presses every 3-4 months. In between silk presses I get my hair braided down and wear wigs or sometimes wear my natural hair in it’s curly state.

Yes, and then you pay the remainder left after they finish your hair.

That’s cool. A little cheaper, but it’s not black owned! 🙅🏾‍♀️ I think Pressed Roots is great for us textured naturals. I consider the service affordable for the type of hair that I have💕
