Okay this vid has got way more views than expected!! However I’m getting so many comments on this which I keep removing because they’re so rude so lemme point a few things out 🙂 I’ve worked at Starbs for 5 years, I know everything about the job and anything missing from this video is because it’s a VIDEO made for your entertainment, not an exact day on shift- it’s ‘staged’. People saying anything is “unclean” I happen to LOVE cleaning and spend most of my shift doing it but I can’t do this with my hands full trying to film for you guys?! I work in a busy store and had to film this in between rushes. YES I do have permission to film this video, no it’s not illegal and I’m not going to be fired. YES I’m in the UK and I’ve been told certain routines are different in America, that’s cool but this is how it’s done here! That’s all... thank you to those of you who leave nice comments!! ❤️
I guess I should have read this first. I got my answer thank you and keep doing you girl! Don't let the bitter baristas get you down, they're close minded and can't imagine things being done anything way other than their way. I enjoyed watching this even though I make these drinks all day haha
As a Starbucks barista myself, I thoroughly enjoyed your video tutorial, Emma. I think you're a fabulous instructor, artist, and person overall. :) Keep up the good work, dear!
can you help me please i got coffee machine and Starbucks beans but i never got the same taste :( I think I'm putting more coffee or more milk can you give me the sizes in ml please ... thank you :)
how's it going !! i just got hired the other day and i start training on Monday, I'm so nervous ! like am i supposed to memorize all the drinks before i start lmao
@@eatingisgr8134 How did it go, if you don’t mind me asking? My first work day will be the 20th of June, I am so nervous. Having to memorize everything is the main factor that I’m stressed. I tend to be a little clumsy at times, so I’ll be crossing my fingers. I have worked at Burger King before but as a cashier. I do not know if it is way different than Starbucks - I bet it is! Hopefully, everything turns out alright in the end.
had my first day of training and i wanna cry. i didn’t really get properly trained, i didn’t have anything to bring home to memorize and stuff, i have zero clue about coffees and expresso machines and all that so today was very difficult now im doing my own studying. thank youu
I am a new barista too. I just wish that Starbucks would offer a side class on days off. I would even pay a small fee in order to feel confident in my job. I just feel that I am set up to fail. I have to study on my own and there is nothing to take home, I just feel so unsure so I totally relate to you
Pretty clear this girl is passionate about her job. Hope corporate are supportive as this is a really positive video about starbucks. I enjoyed it thanks... There are some drinks she makes i didn't know existed - usually go to costa but will try the Chai Latte at Starbucks next time instead.
I used to work at Starbucks when I was 18 (16 years ago) and I hated that place. Got douchebags as my boss and coworker. Now I am definitely at a better place.
i mean, I would love to work as a barista for a while. definitely not a permanent job but this sounds like fun to me. I love making coffee drinks (even if starbucks is shit).
@@jasminelynn4918 Just Do It!!! I felt the same way but it went well. I applied for barista and I am in my training now. They put in the cashier to start off and the only thing I find difficult it memorizing what the people order. My training start next Monday since someone got COVID on my last week training.
Okay I’ve worked at Starbucks for 1yr and a few months and I love it! People and baristas are amazing my recommendation if you want to work there or start there don’t b afraid to ask questions 😊
Hey! I just got a job at Starbucks and my training starts next week. I'm so nervous because I get overwhelmed really easily! What are some tips going into the job?
@@itsjustlisha most definitely ask questions!! 234 is frap pumps in different sizes ask for the recipe card!!! You will b amazing all of it is all just muscle memory after practice you got this !
@@itsjustlisha also if you ever feel overwhelmed it’s okay just let some1 know so you can move around I know bar can be crazy sometimes but just be vocal on what you need ❤️
hi, im just thinking if i should apply to my local starbucks cafe? i have social anxiety so idk if i should apply for it though i love making drinks. what do you think?
my store gets pretty busy especially in the mornings which is when I work so I don’t always get the most efficient training, this video definitely helps me out a lot. I think I have everything down almost except for steaming the milk, I’m still working on that😂
I loved watching this as a Starbucks barista! I love seeing how things are a bit different in the UK. (like your base, syrup options, and the way your 2% milk jug looks! At 3:36 it looks like a bleach bottle from the U.S haha! Anywho, very enjoyable and informative! Nearly perfect in following standards (they probably differ a bit than the U.S so you're probably perfect) and cheers!
This was very interesting! I always wondered how you know how much milk, etc. goes in, so seeing there are lines was very interesting indeed! All I want to know now is why those drinks are soooo dang expensive! 😆 Thanks for the video! Well-done and so interesting.
Its really hard and they really drill you hard (at least from my store, we're very busy) to learn every recipe then quickly move on to learning how to make multiple of those drinks you just memorized at a time. It's tough but I enjoy the challenge of that
Hey am Tara... jus got a work as a Barista at Starbucks in Jamaica... this video openmy Confidence in my self, i was a bit Nervous or i should say still is... soo many things to remember,, really enjoy your video 👍
Thank you for how to video, thinking about getting part time job as Barista, and this video helps with basics.... thank you and love calm nice Pleasant voice
Thank you so much for this, would you be able to do a tutorial on how to do different latte art?! Its so cool. I appreciate you taking the time to make this.
I love your channel! I was working in a franchise store before the first lockdown, I’ve left now, but there was this HUGE argument about putting drizzle in the cups for the frappes 🤣😭 I knew it went in the cup ffs!
Your video helped me a lot & TY‼️👍 I’m gonna start with the iced Macchiato! However when u added 3 pumps of vanilla, what would that be in tbls? I’m guess 3! Thanks
I really enjoyed your video Emma. I just bought myself an espresso machine today and I am trying to learn how to make the different Starbucks drinks. I found this to be very helpful. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I realize its a long time since it was made, but it doesn't hurt to appreciate good work. I am in Southern Africa and planning to open a coffee shop upon my near retirement. Good work!
I super love SB. To the point I collect alllll organizers or planner every year. I also love collecting tumblers but lately I had to stop getting SB since it's quitr expensive and I need to be wise with spending. This video makes me happy. I'll just get the ingredients and I can make one myself. 🤣
Hi miss Emma Nicole well by watching your video I realised I found the prettiest Barista on earth with a voice as cream as frapp thank u for this video
Hi, Emma i am a new subscriber i really enjoy the going to work Starbucks videos can you please keep making these starbucks videos if you can 👉👈🥺🥺🥺🥺i would really appreciate it 💯 Thanks Have an Amazing Day
Omg this was so incredibly satisfying to watch!! Caramel macchiato is one of my favs too and of course a white mocha! Love a Starbucks you know me emma haha 😉 💜
I'm a little confuse. I work at a Starbucks in the States and it's quite different than what you did. The tall size always gets only one shot of espresso. No matter if it's hot or iced. You added a lot of base and caramel to the caramel Frappuccino. It was really runny, unless if that's what the customer wanted. The macchiatos get one less pump of vanilla than other drinks (same as if you added blonde shots into the drink) It may just be a difference between countries but I did think it's similar in every Starbucks in the world 😅but I did enjoy watching!
I knew that Starbucks in the USA do only one shot in tall because when I’m on holiday there they only give me one shot as standard! It’s 2 shots in the UK and Europe 🙂 thanks for watching 🙂
Hi there Emma would mind telling me what beans that is you are using to make your shots. I usually order the americano without milk and sugar and I simply love it. Thank you for showing me. I just need the name of the coffee beans please
