I think I wasn’t clear about the singing part 😆... it was a fun game where I had to repeat the song and people had to guess what I was singing to win prizes. I knew about it and agreed to it beforehand.. no one pressured me ☺️ just something overcame me in the moment and I froze.. it’s not ones fault and it happens, I just wanted to include it Bc it was my reality.. things don’t always go as planned.

HK is so dope and so underrated compared to other Asian countries like Japan and Korea! You should come, they have really cool thrift stores and the best food! Very English friendly too!

Hearing you say something as simple as 'I have hormonal things' made me feel so much better about my own hormonal acne. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and my self esteem has been hit so hard with the combination of cystic and hormonal acne on top of dermatillomania (skin picking disorder). Your simple statement made me realise it's not my fault and I shouldn't be ashamed.

Also it's so brave of you to open up about the harsh beauty industry and how you got cancelled because of your skin. When you talked about your insecurities and bad experiences due to acne, it really hit home. I've been suffering from fungal acne these past few months and 'my self-esteem has gone down since then. This video really somehow comforts me and that it's okay to have imperfections on your skin. keep doing what you do Taylor. Love your vids

I went of the pill three months ago and although I never had perfect skin, due to the hormonal change I now have acne on my face and neckline. And I've been struggling with it a lot. But seeing you being confident about your skin really cheers me up 😊

You might have some acne, but the over all texture of your skin is so good. I’m dealing with acne AND aging and it’s ugh. Your makeup skills are incredible but you look great naturally in my opinion as well. 💕

Hi, loved this video Taylor! Love the format, the 'narrating' (if that's what you call it) throughout the video, love the ideas behind the outfits and locations. It was super interesting hearing you talk about the thought process behind the shoot, the vibes, what it's like as a model, as well as your own insecurities. Such an amazing video and it's great seeing your wonderful personality shine through. Also, just wanted to say how impressed I am with Toat. I thought the singing was endearing. It allowed the audience who isn’t familiar with your channel a little clip of your quirky personality. Even though it didn’t go as planned I still that it was cute and makes you relatable.

Hi Taylor! :) I loved your content since forever! I'm so glad you are always as honest as possible- even when it comes to situations that make you more uncomfortable. And it's definitely got to be a roller coaster of emotions when you are having hormonal imbalances from IVF treatments as well as the usual hormonal changes us women experience all the time. So proud of you! I think you slayed the shoots! You looked gorgeous! :) And just wanted to say I understand how you may feel uncomfortable singing live and especially in a language that's not your native language! I know this especially since my partner is from a different nationality as well and every time I'm in his country I freeze even just having to try to speak a normal sentence (bc I dont know how~ haha) Anywhoos, you rocked it! Proud of you for trying new things always!

Your signing remind me of this old HK game show I watched years ago. There was a segment / mini-game where the constants had to guess what Cantonese songs non-natives people are singing.

@@Taylor_R Since that's the case, don't worry about not being able to sing in Cantonese, that's kind of the whole point of that game segment. If you do this game again for other events, just go nuts and have fun! My sister had a friend who acted like he didn't know Cantonese to sing for that segment.

when you said you got canceled on the spot that hit me, I can relate so much cause I had to beg my manager on the phone to not send me home once. Im a model myself and I had a bridal shoot with three other girls from my agency (and a couple of more from other agencies)when she called me out of the blue and told me I seemed to happy on the set. I thought that acting happy was better than being serious but apparently not. I am very grateful they talked the client out of it thought.

Omg thank u for sharing! Ur story about ur pimples with modelling reminds me of my insecurity with my knee scar. I get so nervous when I get asked to wear shorts or dresses bc I don't know how they'll react to my scar. I can say that so far no client has rejected me 😆 but I do fear that in some countries like Japan which are much stricter

I miss Natalie :( Edit: yikes springing live singing in a different language on you...someone dropped the ball. 9/10 people would not feel comfortable doing that. Hahahaha. The singing thing used to be on a popular hong kong game show. I dont think it was meant to sound good, but rather just something silly and funny that would really stump the guests on the show who are native Cantonese speakers 😂

A lot of idols have bad skin, but usually in photos they just retouch those things away they can also do it in post-production for film and apply a filter over to make your skin smoother, or manually retouch it. A lot of places do it... I guess the manpower/mandays were not in their budget :( You still look very beautiful on camera tho, can't tell once you have some makeup on, it's normal to have not perfect skin. I hope you're resting well, drinking lots of water and making sure you let your skin rest

I used to have bad acne too. Try using Fresh’s soy cleanser and clay toner and olehenrikson’s blue moosturizer. All found in sephora. So far it has worked for me.
