I'm a HUUUGE Beatles fan and not of fan of remakes of Beatles' songs...but boy oh boy...this is awesome!!! Love the acoustic guitar sound, the 'Blues' vibe and the voice...THE voice...phenomenal !!! I just discovered Jay and am now listening to as many of his songs as possible. Keep it up JH!!!!!

I love the vocals in all your covers so far, though I do like Gary clarke Jr guitar version better than the original, with your vocals a close 2nd, Beatles version 3rd. 🙌👏🎵✋😍😁

Its subjective maybe. However, don't forget. The original was performed by a band with producers, with all the compromises that involves. It was created in a vastly different time and place. By a band with different influences. In another country. For a different audience. In a sense. The Beatles were out on their own when they were creating their last albums. Few others were doing anything like this and the breadth and depth of what The Beatles were producing. Not taking anything away from Jay's cover. Its one of the best versions I've heard and I suspect that if John were alive, he'd like it too. Especially since Jay has the vocal handicap of being from the land down under! ONLY JOKING Jay!

That chrome pickguard guitar on the wall, is that a Palmer? I’ve got a 1962or 1963 Palmer with 2 pickups, that looks very much like that. Same tremolo, the pickups look the same near as I can tell, the body finish is the same. The chrome pickguard.. they could have been made by the same guy. Mine has a really unique tone, and as a result I’ve simply never gotten rid of it.

Hey mate! That’s not a Palmer, it’s a Fender VI. I use it for tracking my Bass parts when I record. It also sounds pretty mean when you add some Fuzz and take to it with a slide. I’m interested to know more about this Palmer guitar of yours though?
