I've been waiting for this video half of my life and i never realize this melody was made in a guitar One of my all time favorite songs You made my day man
It has actually made me a better guitar player by listening to and appreciating many different types of music I too am a big metal fan but a good song is a good song. Everything from Burt Bacharach to the Carpenters to Peter Gabriel to Charlie Parker, it's all about good melodies and rhythms.
It’s been two years since I’ve started learning how to play the guitar (I play bass guitar since I was a teen). Always loved this song and your tutorial helped me a lot. Can’t thank you enough for all your lessons.
I got the notification but didn't think it would be my kind of thing but. . . . .wow! This is a killer track!!! . . .you win Carl, I think it's time to join the academy
Btw it was the first time I ever heard Duran Duran and I was like I need to learn this song and the same day I heard this song is the same day you posted this video !
This is really fantastic! When I first heard this years ago, I thought it was like a Peter Hook inspired bass hook. I’m wondering, would it be possible to use a bass to play a comparable version, phaser and all? I play guitar, but I’m wondering what it would sound like to play this riff with a bass. Any thoughts on this?
The phasor effect is quite extreme in the mix to the point that the sound basically disappears. I think the lowest end is high-passed to an extreme or is cancelling out in the effects. But it's probably high-passed to make room for the huge bass sound.
Great lesson love this song. Do you think you could do smashing pumpkins stuff like cherub rock, geek USA and quiet and maybe sound garden like the day I tried to live
Awesome as always! Carl if you don’t know what song to do next just choose a random song from ]V[EGADET]-[ or PANTERA. And If you wanna suprise us make an Lamb Of God Song (they aren’t satanic) ...have a nice day! 💪😜
Estimado, he leído todos los comentarios y ndie le da el crédito a la persona que creó esta grbdisima canción. El guitarrita se llama Warren Cucurrullo, guitarrita de Frank Zappa.
