I’ve never been to Istanbul but I have been to Turkey 3 times and the people there are what draw me back, they are so friendly and accommodating and I always miss the people I met when I leave 😢 the scenery and food there is fantastic too !

I am so glad you guys had a great time and had fun with the kids. When my son was little like Alaina I had him wear the bracelet with me. He was a "runner". He would get so excited and just want to run. So I had to have the bracelets to make sure he stayed safe and with me. I was able to train him later and we would practice walking without the bracelets if he could stay within a couple of feet from me and ask if he could go further to see something. It worked out very well as he is an adult now! Our kids aren't perfect and we aren't perfect parents but we all make it work! You guys are doing great!

Travelling alone is daunting much more with two babies and all that luggage I could well imagine the toll it took on you but you managed I just came back from a trip and it took me three days to recover from fatigue.

U can use a buggy board with seat for Aleena that can be attached to babys stroller so u dont need two separate strollers for both babies , its v handy as a mom with young kids. Its available on amazon and not very expensive.

Try staying in Taksim in intercontitental hotel, you have to walk alot or take the station, take the boat in aminono to see the whole city, next time go to Emaar Mall in east side which is belong to Dubai Mall, your kids will like walking over the glass and aquarium

And goverment had to take care of this people we spent so much many for them . Some of this people killed turkish peope . İn some cities there more arab than turkish people they dont even try to Respect to our culture .They dont learn turkish ,they are paid by goverment and they have access to health care services for free. As a turkish i dont have some of this peoples right . They attack to turkish people and even killed. So we can be rude sometimes but we are RİGHT most of the time.

Looks like such a lovely time of year to visit there! Would love to see a video on what you bring in your carry-on bags when flying overseas. Also what were the best places with your children at the Istanbul airport? May have a 9 hour layover there and my last time flying with a baby was an unforgettable experience, to say the least 😆 I've been without a stroller too due to dad so you're not alone 🙃
