I DNF'd Let the Right One In pretty early on. There's a scene involving a 10 year old male prostitute, and I just couldn't get past it. That book needs content warnings.

I read a book a couple of years back that had one small detail near the beginning, completely unimportant to the story other than to prove a point, that just irritated me so badly. Glad to know I'm not the only one who can be bothered by a small detail. I apologize to my cat all the time, even though she never apologizes to me lol.

Let The Right One In was so good!!! It’s my other favorite vampire movie so I was really excited to read the book. And I was NOT disappointed.

Sometimes I Lie & Daisy Darker, Both by Alice Feeney are good. I'm with you on the ending in Rock Paper Scissors, it could have ended about 20 pages sooner than it did. I enjoyed it overall though.
