Boy Group Concepts:Break-ups and etc.. Girl Group Concepts:Fish Edit:I know that Catallena has a deeper meaning but still it's still pretty funny to see the girls dress up as sushi and have fun on stage :))
I mean it’s not just tha, it’s about how the industry will do anything to sell people, even if that means altering them til there’s no memory of the real them (thus the prices going lower on the fish)
Vargenre Entertainment Official I first heard this song in roommate ! And when this part comes : "io hoy hoy " I thought is was Indian even the rhythm sounds Indian now that im watching this vdo for the first time I confirm it: it's Indian specialy when they ; jyoti meri .. Mera this is Hindi .
Over two years later, and this still remains one of the most brilliant, creative and original pop songs I've ever heard. Something about that almost creepy dissonant undertone is just incredible.
Every time I watch a live performance of this song and see Nana's smile after her "HA!" I can't help but imagine it as a "YES! THAT WASN'T A PTERODACTYL SCREECH!" look.
After School members doing the most outstanding things in Kpop. First drums, then tap dancing, then pole dancing, now dancing with plates of sushi on their heads! (yeah they're fake but just play along...)
Sayho Ml The problem with netizens nowadays is that they think whenever a company creates a sub unit from the original group they see it as another group. Even though they have their own name, Orange Caramel will still be under After School and they will always be considered as one. Since, duh. It's called a sub-unit after all.
aspidiske I would have to disagree. They deserve to be called Orange Caramel and not After school because you are giving credit to all the other girls in AS that aren't in OC. They weren't in the video and aren't in the group yet they deserve to get credit for what these three girls did? I don't think so.
Because these fanchants are orchestrated lol. People just sing along in america because they already know all the words. have you seen metallica perform?
They are literally perfect, they are creative, they are stunning, they can sing, they can dance, they have amazing bodies, they bring our really catchy songs that everyone loves despite not everyone being able to understand the lyrics and their hair is also really shiny and beautiful. What's not to love?
Tiffanys Pussi Really? How so? Is it because the concept is on sushi which is raw meat (i.e. vegetarians and animal activists would not like this concept)? I just mean it in a fun way; the concept is quite fun and I think the outfits were chosen/made well to suit it. The music video was also funny/cute with the props and whatnot.
That's exactly what I meant. That the sync is on point. I never said the moves themselves were difficult. But keeping it in sync is difficult because all three are expecting to do things at the same time.
Axel Rodriguez well they're after school members after all. After School is well known for synchronised dance movement and they beat Girls' Generation in a dance battle at one time. They are also known for their bold and unique concept which not many idol group can pull off. Orange Caramel is the colourful side of it.
Super late reply, but comeback stages are usually shot multiple times (5-7 times iirc). So for every take, the cameras shoot in different angles. This also means the idols dance that amount of times, the fans also shout the fanchant that amount of times. This is why sometimes, you see the idols sweating a lot even though it's still the start of the song.
It's very refreshing to see a cute song well presented in such an clever and entertaining way, without the girls forced to follow the usual sexy trend. Love it.
@@Viharamahadevi111 lol...it felt the same for me lol...i only speak tamil so it was curious for me to know what language is that as it is a korean MV😂...and broo if you listen it more than twice ...you will get addicted asfuuuu
UGHH! THE VIDEO ISN'T ABOUT LIKING A GIRL OR ANIMAL ACTIVISM. Korean culture is a lot more free with expressing affection among the same gender without it being romantic or sexual. The song/MV is a comment on how girls in Kpop have to sell themselves and in doing so devalue themselves. The video compares Orange Caramel to sushi; very pretty to look at, and manufactured with care by an expert to be consumed. Notice who consumes the sushi; MTV for example. But they're in the game too. The girls admire the octopus because even though she's not cute or pretty she doesn't have to devalue herself, she's free to be obnoxious and do stuff that would embarrass them. At the end Orange Caramel realize they've completely lost themselves when they essentially eat themselves (they're remembering where they came from), hence the tears at the end. Notice the ppl who are in the game also have to eat themselves. Nobody may want the ugly Octopus because she's too expensive but she is still left standing at the end
After reading this comment and after reading the lyrics, basically this is a song on being a fangirl who became an idol herself but it is also shown in the MV that it wasn’t a happy ending being an idol?
I really love this song and choreography, and it's nice that it's more of a cute style rather than the normal "sexy" style that most kpop girl groups seem to have. Not that it's anything wrong with those, but kind of refreshing as a change. Catchy!
To each their own. I personally love the cute style although I would say it's not just cute but odd/quirky too which is an even more unique trait for kpop (girl) groups I think.
they're actually all good at singing and stuff but orange caramel's concept is kinda like weird i guess. you should listen to afterschool's other ballad songs, it will change your thought towards them
When my mom asked just what kpop is that makes me squeal, laugh out of nowhere like a crazy person and keep me up late at night, this is what I showed her
greyarts guys it's Hindi song they re saying : jyoti meri palla mera : "Oi hoy hoy " you find it in most Indian song Oi hoy hoy it's like the Korean "aigo"
Two deliciously grilled, juicy, flavorful, chicken breast fillets, covered in melted cheese, mushrooms, and a succulent thick sauce, with a side of brown rice, corn, and greenbeans mixed with chopped bacon. A couble of honey, butter, sweet rolls and an iced, sparkling, tasty half lemon-half sweet tea to wash it all down. mmmm....♥
they've got the right amount of weirdness and cuteness that doesn't slam in your face like 'oh we're super dolly and adorable and timid in pink miniskirts'. Im quite glad that after a juncture of not being in the public eye, they return with a comeback that still screams the very same Orange Caramel not with some overwhelmingly sexually updated version of Orange Caramel. And that's what keeping me subcribed to their music.
Man.. I have been missing out on these 2nd Gen Kpop cuties! Everglow doing this song's intro brought me here. While Mia and Aisha went :"Huh?" in a cute, high pitched tone, Yiren went :" HUHHHHHHHHHHH!" in an aggressive, low tone, like an enraged anime hero, ready to fight. 😂😂😂
