Ali Siddiq is one of the funniest comics out there. This cat’s been in the block for a long ass time. Funny as hell!! The thing is that the media doesn’t support people who talk like him. Cuz he gives it up straight. My man!!
It's not that the media doesn't support Ali. It's more like Ali doesn't play the media game. Reminds me of Patrice O'Neal. They both are/was the real deal!!!! But like Chris Rock told Patrice (on a call-in to the O and A show) You have to bend a little.......
The brother on the couch in the background of this video is a distraction!! Your crew might think about enforcing a rule: Everyone on the set must be engaged in the dialogue, even if that just means paying attention and listening to the guest. While the comedian was on point, the set lacked professionalism. Keep that brother out of future shows…for real!!!

I just happened upon this young man's hilarious videos and realized he is the incomparably BRILLIANT young comedian that was my entertainment headliner during my NAACP Region VI Convention in Arkansas in 2000; also featured was the phenomenal Attorney Johnnie Cochran as special guest and Legal Advocate Awardee for my "Driving While Black" Seminar in the aftermath of the viciously horrendous Rodney King beating by rogue LA cops ... and my Awards Banquet Keynoter was Honorable Kweisi Mfume who was then President & CEO of NAACP!!!! So delighted to find his videos from over the years since on RU-vid!!!
