I am happy to know I am not the only one that loves this guy... I saw him in Rama and he was so funny the headliner was walked out on by a good portion of the audience
Mr Edwards shows tremendous composure in the face of these two annoying and downright silly interviewers.......they interrupt, ignore, insert inanity and change topic mid-stream. Were it not for Derek's good nature and presence the interview would not have been.......just the ramblings of 2 undeserving TV hosts with nothing of value to add or ask. How do they stay on TV? Mr Edwards is a brilliant comic and a wonderful person as demonstrated in this clip.
This guy's one of the funniest people I've ever seen. Too bad he didn't have enough room to strut his stuff in this interview. Some interviewers don't have the maturity to actually listen and let people finish their train of thought. This could have been a great interview if they'd only learn timing and curb the impulse to interrupt. People who love to really listen, NOT who love to just talk, make the best hosts.
