Comedian Naveen Richard Encounters Jesus! 

Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to watch the interview! And thanks Vihan for asking me to share my story. I pray that God pours out His abundant grace into your lives...and that you are given the grace to be able to notice that grace from now on! If you're still searching, don't give up. You may still have questions and doubts in your mind. But God finally met with me in my heart through His Spirit. And then He answered all my 'logical' questions along the way. We hope this video points you in the right direction though. 🙂

I am from Hindu family but I loved Jesus from age of 6 only. I was searching for Him. And I found him Now I am happy Jesus is Mine

Dec 2021... I remember the gig Naveen did for my organisation Tredence at our virtual Annual party. I found his comedy refreshing and being a part of Revive Nations and having such deep spiritual roots I remember the first thought I had was... How nice if this talented artist was saved!! And now I know hell's lost another one 😊🙌 Praise God! We need more of Jesus lovers in secular professions being the light!

I accepted Jesus in 11th and started to live for Jesus ..I am from Hindu background and now mother of two kids ..Thank you Jesus for your precious salvation I am not worthy it's your grace and love on me love you Jesus

I first saw Naveen performing one of his gigs. It was about how much Hindi he knows calling the fire department. I laughed and laughed cause I could relate so much to that experience. And now overjoyed to see that he is saved. Hallelujah. Would love to see him doing more clean comedy.

I had written down the names of our Indian Christian comedians in my prayer list. God is so so good

When Naveen said he's taken his content down I didn't really believe, I just had to go and check it myself. Omg. There's couple of videos from this year and then one video from 6 years ago 🤯🤯 Last 5 years have vanished 🤯🤯🤯😵😵 I knew about stand up comedy because of Naveen & Kenny only because of which I know there were several videos. Taking down years of work because your conviction was greater & impactful is AMAZING. Soo extremely happy to see what God has done in your life and what He's capable to do. My children showed some of Naveen’s videos and I used to be so disturbed with his language. There was a pain in my heart as to how a Christian can say such foul language.. then my children said it’s very common.. Amma better not to watch such things. (Obviously I am one of the old class people) Naveen I feel so happy and praise the Lord for your realisation and My Lord Jesus allowed me to watch this video.. Wow ! This took me back to the 8th of August 1982 , when at the age of 33 I encountered Jesus in a similar and awesome way . Listening to you took me my first love . Oh for the joy of encountering the deep love of the Father , the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the friendship of Jesus . There’s nothing like it’s richness . So much that my demeanour changed . People in the company I worked for were astonished . Including a very understanding boss and colleagues . And yes there was pain and much crying . Crying at the depths of my sinful depravity , debauchery , in the face of revealed holiness and the fact that I had to sever relationships that were rooted in the pride of life and the lust of the eyes . In one fell sweep not only did I know about the forgiveness of a gracious God but actually experienced his mind blowing cancellation of all my humongous sin . I walked like I was walking on sponge on the streets of Bandra . Thank you for sharing so openly and transparently .

Woahhh, I just finished my prayer and I happened to see this. Idk who is gonna believe this but I'm amazed to a next level, because everytime I've seen Naveen Richard as a comic, I have wondered how it would be if this person was a Pastor & living for God instead and todayyyyyy yaayyy😍

I had watched Pusphavalli series and somewhere I had prayed in the corner of my heart, Lord why don’t you touch the actors in this series, let them know your saving grace and love, especially you for the language that was used in the series. So glad that today accidentally, I’m able to watch this testimony!

Oh man!! I've watched so many of Naveen's stand up. There was always something that made him different from the other comedians. Oh and now my respect and love had hit the rooftop. Actually, in the lockdown he used to put up stories on IG of Bible verses and stuff and I was like... Ok? Something's happened. And now.... OMGOODNESS!!!!! I can hangout with him in Heaven!! So crazy!

This is so awesome! Just love the transformation of Naveen. I’ve always enjoyed his performances right from the first time I watched him at a stand up gig about 10 years back. The amazing talent God has blessed him with has always been evident in all his shows and it’s too cool that he is now using this for God’s glory. Really inspired by his bold faith to share his testimony publicly knowing how this could affect his reputation. Praying that we continue to see more entertainers encounter Jesus and reach people like Naveen who may not be able to hear the truth through all the distractions the enemy puts in front of them. @Naveen Richard : I have experienced everything you have described and I believe every salvation story is of the same nature. So no, it is definitely not in your head and it is definitely NOT acidity 😄 The beauty of this testimony is in it’s simplicity. It really is this simple to know Jesus and be known by Him ! Wow! Praise be to God. What a heart touching testimony! Glory be to God. I was Hindu. My life was like an hell on earth without Jesus. I did not know who was the true God. One fine day Jesus came into my life and filled me with the joy that this world could never give me. My life changed completely forever. My sickness, hopelessness….. left me. He is mine and I’m his. sometimes we seek to be prayed by some big pastors or evangelists for our own needs or for our loved ones' salvation, but what i believe is its the passionate prayer of our own blood relations especially our parents can bring about miraculous changes in our life more so than the prayers offered by this so called preachers or pastors! because GOD is looking at the passionate heart with a grave concern which can only be see in our parents or our life partner!

Nowadays, we hear so many celebrities saying that they have become Christians but they dont touch their sin and they dont want to leave their old life of sin also. But, you have had a real encounter with Jesus and you have really understood what Jesus has done for you by turning away from your sin. @Naveen Richard Our God is an awesome God. He reigns from heaven above with wisdom and power. It was soooo encouraging to listen to your journey to our Creative Captain and the true Lover of our souls. Just the fact that God doesn't need big and melodramatic paraphernalia to convict someone whose soul is calling out to it's original Mate. It could be as simple and basic as a smartphone, or just a family member that He uses to do begin His transformation in a person who even turns just a bit attention to Him.. tbh i had not known you much until I heard about your transformation from some young Christians. But the moment i listened to this interview, (thanking God for giving Vihan the idea to do this interview) i was soooo emotional at the way God manifested His power in your life. All glory, honor and power belong to Jesus, the King of kings. 🙏😊❤️ Btw, i used to follow Kenny Sebastian's stand up comedy quite regularly many years back as being a mallu myself raised outside of Kerala, i could relate with this jokes so much.. i really loved his and Abish's comedy. However, few years ago, i stopped watching because of the language they use. I was convicted of having a hearty laughter listening to such things.. Nonetheless, i continued to wish that somehow if God would draw Kenny and Abish's attention to Himself and if only they could meet their Maker and experience the unspeakable joy and use their talents for His glory.. Aaah! Still wishing to God,.but I'm so delighted to see that your attention drawn to Christ didn't go in vain and you are regenerated Christian today.. 😃 I believe God can still use your talent to draw more people to Himself. P.S: You must have surely heard of RJ shraddha who has a channel called aiyyoshraddha? Ohhh she is awesome, really clean, relatable, everyday lives' monoacts yet so hilarious..superb talent.. there are very rare like her who bring out such clean yet humourous content.

"Taking Pascal's wager" by Michel Rota is a great book to understand the argument which shows why becoming a Christian is the best thing to do. I'm so happy to hear Navin has found Jesus. God bless!

It's surprising I have watched your Smart fairening slim tea video long back I too was not saved. Now I'm so surprised That I was saved and even you are. And weird thing , I too had same pattern of encountering God before 2 years. Hallelujah All Praise To HIM Jesus ❤️

Praise the Lord for a new transformed life. I was saved 6 years ago and He transformed me. I used to go to standup comedy programs and watch them on TV before He saved me. But soon after I lost interest in all the worldly entertainment....music, movies, parties, dinner dances, comedies which they curse and use filthy words etc. These were the things I spent most of my time on and I lost interest in them completely. Including alcohol when God told me it’s not good for me. I was looking for joy and happiness externally but as a new creation I was totally happy without any of them. I love to worship God and read His Word and preaching of a selected Christian teachers. I have the joy within me as the Holy Spirit working in me. I’m totally happy, content and peaceful thanks to Jesus who saved me 🙏🏼

I was struggling in my faith though I have experienced Jesus personally, but your testimony helped me keep my guilt aside and gave me the confidence that God would never give up on me for any reason.
