I love how he takes the funniest possible interpretation of what the heckler said, and then says it himself and makes the audience believe that the heckler actually said it.
Right this is the guy I wanna see at Temple Beth ha Sholom in Williamsport, just open up for the Rabbi and say this next guy who’s coming up has some great stuff to say to so pay attention.
I can't handle Hecklers that well so the way Sam can banter with them so casually is one of the many reasons he's one of my favorite comedians, love this guy
You do stand-up?! I wanna try open mic 🎤 later but in school, you don’t really have to worry about hecklers when you’re doing a report. The worst that happens is someone falls asleep but at least they’re quiet 😝
Out of all of the comedians dealing with hecklers I've seen, I think Sam is at least top 3. Calmly dismantles them with wit, never gets even the slightest bit heated, true professional.
I love this cause it's sort of like he gets to do 1 man improv by reacting to the idiots in the crowd, and seeing how funny he can make it rather than just try to fall back on the pre written material and he's awesome at it. Not all comedians are. It's hard. I'm hardly ever witty/funny on the spot I can't imagine handling these situations so well.
For anyone who doesn't know it's very hard to make a joke when a random drunk person literally walks up on stage and interrupts you.. you'd think it's easy to laugh about it but it was only funny once Sam changed the vibe of the room everyone was kind of scared for a minute but Sam treated that guy like a speed bump and just rolled on over him
I feel bad for the comedy economy during covid. Some comedians might not make it through the other side but I'm glad to see some of you fighting the good fight. Hope to see you in texas !
It's actually a good thing. Sam says that Covid will weed out the fake comics and comics who are doing this because it's hot right now. Fuck em, let them fall

COVID made comedy harder and like the op I feel sorry for anybody trying comedy or any comedians because I am sure it has become much harder. It’s AWESOME when you’re binge-watching a new fave’ comedian and you run out of their material but then HECKLER compilations give you a whole NEW bunch of material to watch!
I’ve never heard of this guy before a random you tube short popped up and now I’m a little hooked, some comedians shy away from hecklers but this dude revels in it and makes it part of his bit because of his perfect timing and quick wit. He just gained a new fan! My hat is off to you sir!
If you like this dude, you'll LOVE Andrew Schulz. Not only does he demolish hecklers but he also is very knowledgeable about other countries and their cultures

The man in the front from 9:30 till 17:00 was dying so many times...when you see the shoulder heaving laughs...you know he is trying not to lose it where he cries from laughing.
In a way it lets him show off his quick-witted replies...not every comedian does well in those situations...Carlin, Hicks, and Louis CK despised hecklers
I was an emergency room EMT for a number of years and dealt with lots of drunks and the problem with dealing with them from a stage is that they feel like it’s kind of part of the show, like mutual fun, I know that I put on a straight face and tell them to “stop making this whole thing about them” and then when they get it I make a face saving comment. Comedians tend to mix the face saving on the front end which confuses the heightened narcissism in the inebriate
