And we'd make a lot more progress if we'd just acknowledge that reality rather than trying to browbeat men until they lie and tell you it's true. If she was just smart and funny but not beautiful, then I could take her or leave her, just like I could take or leave any man. But because of her beauty I am interested in her, and would be whether she was intelligent and funny or not. An unattractive woman is essentially just a dude who I probably don't have much in common with, but an attractive woman is a person who I actively want to be around (engaged in certain specific activities... 😏). So it's always "How attractive is she?", first, and all other questions after.
